Episode 8: 2019 MWSU/Ft Hays State/Northeastern State Football Preview
We cram a lot into one episode this time... Missouri Western is coming off of a 7-5 campaign in 2018 but has to replace almost all of it's production in the passing game.
Fort Hays State comes into 2019 looking to defend their conference crown. And they have the firepower needed to do just that.
Northeastern State is under new guidance as JJ Eckert gets ready to begin his tenure as the Head Coach of the Riverhawks.
Special Thanks and shout out to Waylon Campbell for letting me use his beats on the intro and outro.

Episode 7: 2019 Washburn/Northwest Missouri State Football Preview
With only a matter of days until kickoff, we break down two more teams for 2019. First, we talk 'Bods... Washburn finished 5-6 last season and has to replace leading tacklers and an NFL defensive back on defense, not to mention an All-Region WR on offense. Craig Schurig talks about getting back to running the football and improving as a team in 2019.
Then, we go to Maryville to talk to the preseason favorites. Senior linebacker and team captain Andy Hessler talks about the standard at NWMSU and I give my (lofty) opinion of sophomore QB Braden Wright. We also talk about all the weapons Northwest has returning on offense and look at the most important 3-week stretch as the Bearcats look to return to the National Championship.

It's our first two-fer! With the start of MIAA football bearing down on us in less than one week, we take a look at two teams in this episode.
First, we travel to Emporia, KS to talk to Garin Higgins about replacing A LOT of production on offense and leaning on an experienced defense. Then we look at the schedule for the Hornets and talk about the importance of getting off to a better start in 2019 than a season ago.
After that, we head up to Kearney, NE to chat with Lopers senior RB Luke Quinn and DL Hinwa Allieu about the steady progress UNK has made in the last two seasons and give the Lopers their due as they look to enter the postseason discussion in 2019.

I spoke with Central Missouri coach Jim Svoboda about:
- A rare losing season in Warrensburg
- Losing a Harlon Hill candidate in their first game
- New defensive coordinator BJ Campbell
We also take a closer look at the new DC in Warrensburg and discuss the return of Brook Bolles... Who can potentially benefit the most from the star QB's return? How about their underrated running back, Devante Turner?

Episode 4: 2019 Pitt State Football preview
Today on MIAA Weekly, we head to The Jungle and break down the Pitt State Gorillas. In 2018, Pitt went 8-3 and missed out on the postseason entirely- no playoffs OR bowl game -and PSU is hungry to bounce back in a big way in 2019. I spoke with Head Coach Tim Beck in Kansas City at MIAA Media Day and we discussed:
- The disappointment of missing the postseason
- The embarrassment of riches the offense has at the skill positions
- A QB Battle that may define the Gorillas' season
We also look at all the production returning on defense and analyze the schedule to see what is the most important stretch of the season for Pitt State... It's probably not the stretch you have circled on your schedule.
Special thanks and shout out to Waylon Campbell for letting me use his beats in the intro and outro.

- Talent in the RB Room
- Replacing production on the Defensive Line
