Verse of The Day: 2 Corinthians 4: 8-9
"We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;" - 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Greetings everyone, and welcome!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend with loved ones and friends.
Today's "Verse of The Day", is about "Adversity", which we all need to overcome during these difficult times. What I got from the above verse is there will be times of difficulty when we are vulnerable. There are temptations on every corner and we must be vigilant on not giving in to them.
It can be immensely hard to give in when the flesh is weak, but with God's help, we are made strong through Him, amen!
Thank you for listening and stay blessed!

Mike's Journey: Courage From Within
In this episode, I shared my early school year experience and using courage to face bullies. Here is a scripture that aligned with my bullying experience about courage: "I hold you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, "Don't be afraid. I am here to help you." - Isaiah 41:13
For me to unlock courage from within was a testament to my fighting spirit. The Lord was with me through my IEP learning disability struggles and prevented me from heading on the wrong path.
Stay tuned for the next episode!

God Is Doing Something New
In this podcast, I explained as to why we should share our testimony about overcoming hurdles in our life. Expanding your capacity and opportunities to love. Committing your life to Jesus. Overcoming disabilities (stuttering, deaf and vision impairment, physical limitations, etc). Spreading God's word. Being an advocate for the voiceless. Marching for equal rights.
We need to prepare for Christ's return and be vigilant in prayer.

Fear God And You Will Become Fearless
In this episode, I discussed why we should have no fear and trust in God. As human beings, we know that fear is a basic human emotion that lies within us.
We constantly live in the grip of fear, worry, and anxiety in our daily lives. It is normal think about our own deaths from time to time. The question is, when will it happen and under what circumstances?
If we are wise, we would not focus on death, but only focus on God, for he is the giver of life. I am not surprised that fear comes at the top for many people. Sometimes, we may ask ourselves how frustrating it might feel for us to waste time on this earth.
It is terrible to think that our life was a bust because it did not turn out the way we hoped it would. Somewhere along the way, God is waiting for us to call upon him and ask for his help.

God's Mercy Endures Forever
In this podcast, I discussed about the essence of God's mercy and how it was shown towards us. As men, you have been forgiven so much for bad decisions and neglect. Yet, you still lean on your own understanding.
If your wife or a significant other does wrong to you, you have no right to withhold forgiveness from them. Because of God’s love for us, He wants us to be with Him. God’s mercy is required for that to take place, which is an inseparable connection between His love and mercy. Furthermore, Jesus laid down His life and became the sacrificial lamb (Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29) so that God’s mercy could be extended to us. Instead of being punishing for our sins, God allowed His Son to take the condemnation of this world in our place.
That is the ultimate act of God’s mercy.

The Faithfulness of God Conquers All
In this podcast, I discussed about the faithfulness of God and how He always keep His promises. Every promise will come true if we have faith in God. The faithfulness of God is evident in His relationship with us. In the bible, God made a covenant with his faithful servant Abraham because of his obedience.
As we implement our faith daily, we begin to realize more about how God operates within us when we have faith. Our God is a faithful God. Above all things, God loves for us to demonstrate faith.

The Essence of God's Grace
In this podcast, I explained as to why we need God's grace in our lives. We can all extend grace toward others, but when the word grace is used in connection with God, it takes on a more powerful meaning.
Grace is God choosing to bless us rather than curse us.
It is God’s kindness to the undeserving.
In Ephesians 2:8, the scripture tells us, “For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves,” meaning the only way any of us can enter into a relationship with God will be by His grace toward us.

Activating Our Spiritual Awareness With Openness And Inward-Focus
In this podcast, I explained as to how spiritual awareness comes through daily practice of inward-focus, openness and willingness to raise ourselves above its usual level. Our spiritual awareness is the result of Christ’s redemption. In Jesus, we have a whole new perspective on life and what it means for us. We know there is more to life than what we can see, hear, and touch; our existence is not limited to the material realm.

Part 17: 'God's Love Over Shadows Our Imperfections'
In this podcast, I explained the importance of having God's love in our lives. God does not only give love; He is the source of love. As the Creator of all things, He is the One who created love. It is because of His love that we are able to love one another and our enemies. God has made it clear that His love through the Son of God, Jesus himself, provides an opportunity for us who believe in spending eternity with Him.
It is God's desire for us to enjoy His love, both in this life and beyond. Even when Jesus knew we would fail and even before we were born, He gave His life as the ultimate expression of His love. God is love. He created love, created us to love Him, and has extended His love to each and every one of us.

Part 16: 'Prioritize Your Life And Put God First'
In this episode, I explained as to how we should prioritize our life and put God first in everything we do. It is imperative that we put God first in everything we do and trust in Him. Conversely, the life of a Christian should be characterized by moment-by-moment with selfless service to God that flows from love for Him and His people. That is what it means to put God first. Any wealth that comes our way should be used to give generously. Our gifts should also be used to multiply Christ's influence. Any strength and health we enjoy should be spent in God's service.

Part 15: "Why We Should Redefine Our Purpose"
In this episode, I explained as to how we should live a purposeful life. If we don't know who we are, we will not know our purpose. It all starts with defining our shape: skills, habits, abilities, personalities, and experiences. We should do is set goals for ourselves and plan to have a purpose-driven life. Why? Because if we have ambitions and an aim for what we want in life, we would have an end in mind. We can reach our ultimate goal.

Part 14: "Forgive One Another As Christ Forgave You"
In this episode, I explained as to why we should forgive one another and ourselves. We should treat each other with love and compassion, just as God shown us when we do wrong in his presence every day. Forgiveness may be hard at times, but it is required that all of us learn how to forgive.
We have the right to ask God for his forgiveness and not expect him to forgive us when we are still holding grudges against someone else. As God's people, it is imperative that we forgive our fellow man because when we do forgive others, we will receive God's favor in our lives and the blessings God will give us for our obedience to his will.
So, my brothers and sisters in Christ, before we can forgive other people, we have to first forgive ourselves and in that way, we will fully show God's love to others.

Part 13: "Believe In God, Not In Man"
In this podcast, I explained as to how we shouldn't believe in our own understanding, but rely on God's help. if we believe in God and have confidence in ourselves, we can achieve anything. Also, we will receive anything we ask for in prayer.
As God's people, we need to believe that God is with us and trust him only. We should not put our faith and trust in other people who are jealous of us.
Why are we so stubborn? Haven't we endure enough? What we need to do is repent of our sins and ask God to help us with our unbelief.
Whenever we face uncertainty in our lives, we need to seek God and tell him everything we are going through. Why? So that we can be saved by God's mercy and grace.

In this podcast, I explained as to how we should receive awards or gifts with humility and grace. God has assured us that he will continue to give us favor and opportunities if we accept gifts with humility and grace.

Part 7: "How Criticism Can Help You Grow Mentally"

Also, we cannot waste our time with worldly things of this world and let them consume us to lose our focus. What we should do is move forward with diligence and divine purpose in our lives towards our ultimate goal, that is to serve God.
