Kheyla Anderson: Taking Small Baby Steps Is How We Can Start Realising Our Big Dreams

In today’s episode I'm chatting to Kheyla Anderson, mother, entrepreneur, herbalist and founder of Mother Nature’s Recipes.

As a new mum, Kheyla was met with some unexpected hurdles, going through an incredibly difficult time breastfeeding her new baby. And despite having an attentive partner by her side, she was trapped by the feeling of failure in her new role as a mum.

Turning to herbal teas and natural remedies, Kheyla not only managed to support herself and her young family throughout her pregnancies, she decided to use her own personal experience and went on to create Mother Nature’s Recipes to ensure that other women do not go through a similar situation feeling alone.

In a true bid to support mums in a more personal, multi-dimensional way and allow them to practice the importance of self-care, she’s developed a range of herbal loose leaf teas, specifically designed to support women through the various stages of motherhood.

To me Kheyla’s personal journey is a beautiful example of how we can turn our obstacles and challenges into new opportunities to helps others so I can’t be more excited to have her on the show today!

Lia Valencia Key: Your Predicament Does Not Determine Your Destiny

Lia Valencia Key: Your Predicament Does Not Determine Your Destiny

In today’s episode, I’m talking to the wonderful Lia Valencia Key, a founder and creative director of Valencia Key Jewelry, a dream lifestyle brand Lia created to inspire and unlock the bravery and light within.

Raised in very humble beginnings in Philadelphia, Lia lived in a homeless shelter with her mother, sister, and brother, but even in such dark times her mom always told her, "your predicament does not determine your destiny”.

So Lia went on to rise above her challenges, received a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Master’s Degree in Education and became a Global Hair & Makeup Artist. Inspired and driven by her dream to create a jewellery line that symbolises that all things are possible if you believe it, she launched Valencia Key Jewelry on QVC, one of the largest television shopping networks in the World.

With the power of believing, Lia went from homelessness to inspiring women in over 100 million homes and her big dreams continue to come true with Valencia Key Jewelry being featured in Oprah Magazine or Lia sharing stage with Jamie Kern Lima, founder of IT Cosmetics, during her book launch event.

Lia reaches back to where she comes from donating and educating women in homeless shelters and is a living example that all things are possible by rooting the power of choosing joy and radiating light.

Michaela Olexova: Dream Big, Manifest Often, Trust Signs & Believe That Anything Is Possible

Michaela Olexova: Dream Big, Manifest Often, Trust Signs & Believe That Anything Is Possible

Over the course of 10 weeks and 10 interviews, I've had the privilege of meeting some truly amazing and inspirational women. Their stories continue to touch my heart and motivate me on my journey towards manifesting my dream life and business.

This week, I have changed things up a little and I come to you, not as a podcast host, but as a guest myself, giving you exclusive insight into how I got to where I am now.

Over 14 years ago, I left my high paid marketing job and comfortable lifestyle to train as a yoga teacher in India before moving from Prague to London and launching my first business. Obsessed with all things creative, I eventually swapped the yoga studio for my new laptop, allowing me to work from anywhere, follow my dreams, and help other women realise their own.

In this week's podcast, I discuss my biggest challenges and decisions, and how I continued on, evolving and carving out my pathway towards a more fulfilling, meaningful and impactful life.

I believe that if we align our strategic minds with our spiritual hearts, we can discover powerful tools to unleash our full potential. We can create something magical that lights us up and live our dreams, no matter how big or small.

Across my She Dares To Dream podcast series, you will find these tools to help you take action—whether you want to find your life’s purpose, leave your 9 to 5 job or turn your unique talent into a thriving business—daring YOU to follow YOUR dreams.

“It might not be next month or next year, but if you keep dreaming, showing up and trusting the process, I promise you that anything is possible.”

Zane Roebuck: How To Clarify, Plan And Achieve Your Goals In Three Simple Steps

Zane Roebuck: How To Clarify, Plan And Achieve Your Goals In Three Simple Steps

Every one of us has a story to tell and a unique journey to take when pursuing our dreams. But it's incredibly special when the two align and part of the journey is actually telling the story itself! That's what happened for my next lovely podcast guest, Zane Roebuck, an entrepreneur, chief visionary and co-founder of The Inspired Stories, a modern stationery and lifestyle brand.

After leaving her 9 to 5 job, Zane spent several months evaluating what she really wanted from life and researched self-development and self-growth books and podcasts. She often would find that she needed a way of arranging all the information she was absorbing in an easy-to-use structure to help organise her mind. With a keen passion for stationery and planners, Zane's idea was born.

She wanted to create a motivational planner that she herself would use, and with the help of her sister Baiba and best friend Kat, they discovered an untapped niche in the stationary market. On a mission to inspire, motivate and empower women to be their own inspiration, they co-founded The Inspired Stories, bringing together their individual talents, strengths and personalities as well as their shared values and vision for their new brand.

Despite not having experience with creating a physical product or running a business, they dived straight in, learning about the industry and overcoming all the challenges - a great testimony that anything is possible if you break down your big dreams and goals into specific action steps - just as they encourage you to do in their beautiful, practical and easy-to-use planners, journals and motivational notebooks!

In my latest podcast, Zane and I explore how the stories and words we tell ourselves shape our everyday lives, and how YOU can move from YOUR to-do list overwhelm to realising your dream vision if you commit taking small intentional steps every day.

Valentina Marzola: Top 3 Limiting Beliefs That Hold Us Back From Living Our Dream Life

Valentina Marzola: Top 3 Limiting Beliefs That Hold Us Back From Living Our Dream Life

Immense strength can be found in the darkest of places—when you feel like you've hit rock bottom and there's nowhere left to turn. The body and mind are resilient and resourceful, and also empathetic, even at our lowest moments.

That's precisely the case for my lovely guest on today's podcast. Valentina Marzola is a transformative empowerment coach, helping women who feel stuck and insecure to find the courage to live an abundant, confident and powerful life.

Her strength and courage were born from her own experience of hitting rock bottom, where she says she was diagnosed with an anxiety and panic disorder before quitting her degree and getting stuck in a toxic relationship. It was from here where Valentina embarked on a long journey of self-healing, learning about the mind and pursuing a degree in psychology.

With a growing catalogue of skills and self-awareness, and by taking her own experiences into account, she trained as a transformative coach—a path which ultimately led to the career of her dreams!

Now, Valentina is on a mission to help other women overcome their low sense of self-worth, grow their confidence and heal their negative thoughts. Her goal is to empower them to shine bright, share their messages to the world and elevate them so that they can holistically attract abundance, health, wealth, success and joy.

Everyone has unlimited possibilities and potential available to them if they wish to pursue it, and Valentina's own illness taught her that our outer world reflects our inner world. Now she sees challenges as new opportunities and a way of proving how strong and resilient we are.

In the end, all things happen as part of a greater reason, and the tests we endure are our testimony.

In my latest podcast, Valentina and I discuss what it means to be a believer in transformation, and how YOU can turn YOUR dreams into reality by moulding and refining your beliefs and creating positive and actionable opportunities.

Briena Sash: Why Your Unique Skills & Passion Is The Secret To Carving Your Own Niche

Briena Sash: Why Your Unique Skills & Passion Is The Secret To Carving Your Own Niche

It's so important for us to make a positive impact on the world and find a path in life that not only does this but also fulfils you. And whether you discover your purpose easily or need a little more time to navigate the journey, you will straight away feel more aligned and working in harmony with your mental and physical wellbeing.

I'm incredibly excited to be joined by my wonderful friend and award-winning photographer, Briena Sash—Founder of Wellness Stock Shop, an online photography shop designed to supply wellness influencers with beautiful holistic photos which set them apart and elevate them as leaders in their industry.

Briena knew immediately that the conventional way of making a living was not for her. She had a passion for travelling and taking her camera with her, so the idea of becoming a photographer came naturally. But she attests that her failures are what lead to her successes—and that there is actually no such thing as failures but merely life lessons and communications to help you grow.

It was from here that Briena realised that portrait and wedding photography was not for her—something was missing, the wellness aspect. And she admits herself that, while doing this, she was out of alignment and felt as if she were trying to walk upstream against the flow of a river.

With a new mindset and a goal to create Wellness Stock Shop, Briena focused on herself as a business person, and she understood that in order to succeed she needed to seek guidance, learn business skills and work hard to promote self-growth. From here, she was able to carve her own niche, thinking outside of the box and blending her skills as a photographer with her passion for wellness.

I've had the pleasure of working with Briena on several projects, including Instagram graphics and my website templates. And it's incredibly rare to find such stunning imagery which covers a wide array of modalities, as well as having the opportunity to work with such a dedicated person who will handcraft holistic photos to help elevate your brand.

In my latest podcast, Briena and I discuss the importance of having high-quality and professional photography to successfully stand out in a busy online market, and she shares how YOU can design a beautiful Instagram feed that attracts your dream client. Your audience's first interaction with your brand should build authority and credibility, and the best way to do that is through your photography.

Christine Blubaugh: How To Push Your Edges And Tell Your Story On Social Media

Christine Blubaugh: How To Push Your Edges And Tell Your Story On Social Media

It's so often the case that we start off in one job or career, thinking that it's our forever, but then something happens where we end up pursuing completely different or multiple paths later on. And these paths can lead us in such exciting and surprising directions—ones that usually result in a sustainable, more fulfilling life.

On my latest podcast, I'm thrilled to be joined by the inspirational Christine Blubaugh, a launch copywriter and messaging strategist who supports online coaches by producing dazzling copy for six to seven-figure launch event programmes. She also teaches up-and-coming entrepreneurs how to turn readers into buyers and write social media copy which sells itself.

After years of travel adventures in her late teens & early twenties, Christine sought a future as a health coach. But after experiencing problems with her own health and hitting rock bottom, she found she needed a change, and she decided to pursue a writing career in the world of online business and marketing.

Although copywriting was not a path Christine intended to take at the beginning, she realised it was incredibly important to have the freedom to rest and take care of herself as well as have the financial freedom to invest in herself. She discovered a way she could be constantly nourished, whether that be time with family and friends, time alone, or by travelling the world.

Christine believes her success grew from telling her story on social media—taking people on her journey and sharing her struggles, wins and transitions in life. When people can relate and identify with you, you build connections, and the stories behind the person are what people grow to love—the human being.

In my latest podcast, Christine exposes three clear messaging techniques YOU should adopt in YOUR approach to writing social media content. By making the copy work for YOUR business, you will ensure you draw the right people to you.

"Storytelling is really important," Christine explains. "When you wrap things together and you put that in your content, really speaking to your people, describing the benefits of your work and telling your stories, people will be drawn to you. The right people will be drawn to you."

Olivia Wheldon: How To Heal And Spiritually Blossom Harnessing The Power Of Crystals

Olivia Wheldon: How To Heal And Spiritually Blossom Harnessing The Power Of Crystals

Treasures in life can be found in childhood dreams and passions, especially if you follow them through to adulthood. And a love of digging for stones and shiny objects can grow into something miraculous, powerful and spiritual - just as it did for Olivia Wheldon, a Reiki Master, Purveyor of Fine Crystals, Mental Health Advocate, and Founder of White Witch Collective.

After navigating adversity at school, which resulted in severe anxiety, Olivia turned to her passion for crystals to heal her both physically and spiritually and I'm so thrilled to be joined by her for my latest podcast to discuss her inspirational, yet unconventional, journey into adulthood and the world of business.

Being at one with nature, looking at a beautiful bouquet of flowers, or taking a long walk in a forest...it's all proven to lift the mood and have a positive effect on the psyche. So, by having consciously-sourced, high-vibe crystals in the home, these wonderful pieces of nature are bound to have a positive effect on the mind and wellbeing.

Olivia's negative encounter with a supernatural being resulted in her using her powerful crystals to protect herself, and eventually, she carved out her own niche, selling ethically sourced crystals online. Each of her crystals is part of a limited collection, and Olivia knows exactly where they come from, the location they were unearthed, and the story behind each stone.

Knowing that these beautiful pieces of nature can positively affect our moods, protect us spiritually, and improve our physical and mental wellbeing, Olivia found that providing an online medium of purchase was almost a natural path for her to take.

In my latest podcast, Olivia and I discuss how by following your dreams and your spiritual path, and by listening to your intuition, YOU can equally understand how YOU can ensure your personal and business lives flow and fold naturally.

Lucy Edge: From Corporate Burnout To Building An Online Yoga Empire

Lucy Edge: From Corporate Burnout To Building An Online Yoga Empire

We've all heard that money doesn't often buy happiness. And this is much the case for Lucy Edge, who left a high-paying career, used yoga to transform her experience of corporate burnout, and pursued her greatly-loved passion.

Lucy is a Marketing Expert, a published Author of three books and Journalist on all things yoga, an SEO Copywriter, a Brand Strategies Coach, and Founder of yogaclicks.com, an online yoga shop for mindful and sustainable living where everything is made ethically by yogis.

I'm so thrilled to be joined by Lucy on my latest podcast this week as it was her book 'Yoga School Dropout' which inspired me to travel to an Indian Ashram, quit my highly-paid marketing role and become a yoga teacher in 2006.

But changing your life doesn't always come consciously!

For Lucy, being in the corporate world left her spiralling, and the only place she felt at home and most herself was on her yoga mat. In those moments, she no longer felt adrift. After travelling to India and returning to write her travel memoir 'Yoga School Dropout', her success in writing lead her on a new path in life — a life with the freedom to pursue business opportunities which focused on her passion.

While you may come by yoga physically at first, most people agree that it takes you on a journey. It becomes a toolbox you can use and tap into. Whatever you're feeling, you can often shift your perspective to have a more positive outlook or to allow your creativity to flow better. In business, yoga can even help you overcome the biggest challenges of all — the fear of failure.

With a calm mind and strong centre, wonderful ideas can stream and you will find then that you can become the change you wish to see in the world.

In my latest podcast, Lucy and I tap into how YOU can take the opportunity to go and be the person YOU want to be, whether that's through writing, creating an online shop, helping others strategise their brand marketing or encouraging them to pursue their passions.

"It's interesting to me how the journey unfolds," Lucy explains. "You start off thinking you're going to do one thing, and then you end up doing something quite different. For me, it all comes back to yoga —that's the root of my tree. But now my tree has several branches—my books, my yoga studio coaching, and my online shop."

Desha Peacock: How To Find Your Sweet Spot Style In Business And Life

Desha Peacock: How To Find Your Sweet Spot Style In Business And Life

When did you first feel the tug to do something bigger and better with your business? To follow your dreams and bring your creative heart and strategic mind together to shape something extraordinary and magical that people love?

On my latest podcast, I'm excited to be joined by the amazing Desha Peacock, International Retreat Leader, Lifestyle Design Coach, Author of two books - “Create the Style You Crave” and “Your Creative Work Space” - and Founder of Sweet Spot Style to discuss how we can design our life and business around our multiple talents, passions and skills to find our voice and reflect our true authentic and creative self.

Pursuing the path you're destined to take in life might not be simple, but plucking up the courage to believe in yourself is half the effort for the journey. Desha has always wanted to help people, and helping women navigate their own paths was something she quickly realised was her goal. It was all she'd been searching for.

Desha explains, "we are all born with an innate desire to creatively express the essence of who we are. This desire is embedded in our soul, a gift at birth, our own Northern Star in a galaxy full of the unknown. It's the one true thing we know we always have, regardless of the circumstances that surround us."

It's up to us to look into ourselves and check if what we're doing and the path we're on is in line with our innate desire. And if we find we're not, we must do whatever we can to return to that core belief and live our lives at our full potential.

In my latest podcast, Desha and I explore how YOU can be both a “dreamer” and a “doer”. It's not enough to dream big; you must also be ready to take action and upgrade YOUR lifestyle, live fully in your sweet spot and be your most authentic self.

Alice Asquith: Start Listening To Your Gut And Instinct And You'll Be Fine

Alice Asquith: Start Listening To Your Gut And Instinct And You'll Be Fine

Listening to our gut isn't always the easiest thing to do, especially when it's telling you to take big leaps towards building a new business. This is what the lovely Alice Asquith accomplished with her ethical activewear brand, Asquith London, and I'm thrilled to be joined by her for the next instalment of my podcast!

With a love of Yoga and Pilates, and growing up, surrounded by amazing women who designed and made their own clothing, Alice was inspired to follow in their footsteps. She addressed a gap in the market for light, flattering activewear made from natural, ethically-sourced materials, and sought support and advice from a variety of knowledgeable mentors.

There are many challenges for smaller brands who strive to make their presence known, especially when competing with larger corporations, but for Alice, she chose to focus on trust and the power of word of mouth.

Quality is at the heart of everything she does, and by going directly to the community via fitness classes, events and gyms, Alice's future customers could learn more about the brand, experience the feel of the products themselves, and even give feedback.

In our conversation, Alice and I explore how YOU can take inspiration from YOUR life experiences as well as the beauty in the world around you to create a brand that is successful, special and unique.
