TIMESTAMPS:
-17:50 Our heart knows before our brain knows decisions that we make and the ‘real truth’ and our soul resides in our heart.
We cannot solve a problem with the same thinking that created the problem
-22:05 unlock the door that is holding us back to be able to empower ourselves
Beliefs will affect the risks you are willing to take, the adventures you are willing to have pursuit of self-realisation and fulfilment in life, it can interfere with our confidence and ability to create the future we want for ourselves and even our health
If we have good relationships with ourselves, we will have good relationships with others.
If someone believes people are kind and compassionate, they will experience that. if someone believes people are mean and not compassionate…. What we believe is what we experience so that’s why it’s important to question our beliefs
Most of the problems come from unmet expectations. Things have to be a certain way for someone to feel good. I need to, I have to, I should. They’re going to be disappointed.
-40.50 the moment I started not to engage in his behaviour, accepting him for what he was, and not reacting to his behaviour and that’s when things started to turn around
He did not change until I did
Create A little gap to pause and CHOOSE TO RESPOND
44:10 Beliefs create our experience of life’, they create the filters through which we see… we can get into the perception of ‘why this is happening is me
49:35 our beliefs don’t necessarily serve us
If we don’t know something, if we do not see it for what it is, we filter our reality through our way looking at things in our perspectives, and we do not see anything else that is out of our awareness unless we start to question things.
-53:20 for a long time I held onto my beliefs and how the way things should be
They are inherited through culture, from our family, our teachers and religion, I could not question things for a long time… once I realised when things weren’t working the way I was expecting… then I started to question… it took me a while… the expectations I had… I was so conditioned…

20:00 Romana passing on Joe Pilate’s work Physical and mental health intertwined, We cannot live a full and nourishing life if we do not pay attention to our physical body. Civilisation impairs physical fitness. The first prerequisite to happiness. Contrology – taking back control of your movement, being in control of your body rather than your body in control of you
22:00 Learning to move correctly: we are not outside moving anymore not doing natural activities. Let’s look back to the baby, children, animals, movements. Inspired by nature.
42:50 The importance of breathing correctly: until we find that stability… until we learn to breathe properly
55:00 keeping our body physically well functional we feel well happy our mental health is improved.
