Today's Cup Of Tea: Take Action-Spring Forward In Faith
The old adage ‘Spring Forward, Fall Back’ is a reminder to set our clocks forward, but it can also be a reminder to spring into action.
What are you reaching for in life? This is the time for you to step out on nothing but a wing and a prayer and go forward in FAITH and not look back.
I’ve learned that God never consults our past to determine our future. The roads we take become learning experiences for growth and development, to bring us into our God given purpose.
Spring into action: Get in alignment with your purpose. This is your place in history, this is your opportunity to discover your passion and cross into your promised land. So what is holding you back? You have got to make up your mind TODAY, that you are going to spring forward with your ideas and creativity or risk going back to what you were yesterday. Get your focus back and spring forward.

Today's Cup Of Tea: Progress VS Perfection
God does not call us to a life of perfection. He desires us to have a willing heart. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO STRIVE FOR PROGRESS AND NOT PERFECTION?
Progress = making gradual steps forward; moving ahead in a process, change, or development.
Perfection = the most favorable condition or highest level. It means: without flaws or defects; faultless; complete; pure.
To strive for progress, not perfection, means that you should appreciate and be proud of your work. You shouldn’t be focused on what something could or should be; instead, focus on the small steps, the positive ways to improve yourself, and moving forward.
Today, I would like to encourage you to focus on doing what God has called you to do, as best you can without fear of consequences for imperfections.
What do you need to give yourself grace for today, and recognize you are making progress?

Today's Cup Of Tea: Pursuing A Balanced Life (EP1-2)
Finding balance in life is a realistic and important goal. However, sometimes there are hiccups and bumps in the road, and life feels out of control. When this happens it’s usually because you are not getting your needs met or you are not aligned with your values. When you’re out of sorts life feels out of balance.
Remember that “Should Have Had V8-Commercial” where people were walking sideways due to lack of a healthy balanced diet?
Well, it’s the same effect when your life is off track; You feel as though you’re walking sideways!
Balance is a feeling derived from being whole and complete; it’s a sense of harmony. It is essential to maintaining quality in life and work.

Today's Cup of Tea: Prime Time With God
We often make time for other things. However, have we been making time for God? Being intentional about our time allows you to be consistent, committed, and communing about getting into God’s word. I’m reminded of how Jesus would get up early and have prime time in the presence of God. Jesus was intentional about seeking our Heavenly Father on a daily basis. I’m also reminded of King David who too was intentional about spending time with God. David spent prime time in the early morning with God.
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. – Psalms 63:1
He had a set time that he spent with God. I’ve learned over the years that getting into God's word when being Committed, Consistent as well as Commune (3C’s), - works best when you have a set time each day that you spend in God’s presence. Prime time each day in God’s word, you’ll find that your thoughts, actions, and desires line up with God’s.
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” ~ (Matthew 4:4)
It's important in all the busyness that happens every week to carve out some time to focus on your relationship with God.
Your relationship with God is the most important relationship in your life. Without that relationship all other relationships are meaningless. Choose to put a priority on knowing God and making that relationship matter.

Todays Cup of Tea: It's that holiday time of year to gather round the fire pit or even the fire place, with fall spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, peppermint, peach, hazelnut, or chocolate and warm your inners with a Hot Cup of Tea. During this winter season I truly enjoy curling up on the couch with a blanket a good book and a hot mug in my hands.

Today's Cup of Tea: Developing A LIFESTYLE Of PRAYER
My personal prayer is that it will develop into a LIFESTYLE of PRAYER. Someone had asked this question “How do we make prayer a part of our everyday life?” I’m reminded of the breadcrumbs in the lifestyle of prayer and blueprint Jesus left for all of us to model/follow. (Read Luke 11)
Prayer Point: These breadcrumbs not only lead to Jesus to jumpstart His day in keeping his appointed time to seek God in prayer.
We can all pick up these breadcrumbs and learn from these three things that Jesus left for us to Jumpstart Our Day In Prayer… Note the three C’s:
🙏🏾 Commitment: Jesus was not only Committed in prayer, but He also made it a daily priority to devote time to pray
🙏🏾 Consistent: Jesus was Consistent in spending time with our Father early in prayer
🙏🏾 Commune: Jesus had a daily Encounter as He Commune/Communicated with our Heavenly Father.
