Jonathan Sayer is in the interviewer's chair this week, as he chats to Mischief maker and long-time friend, Charlie Russell. The pair chat about the early days of their friendship, corpsing on stage, and why she loves the ending of Groan Ups.
Charlie has appeared in four Mischief productions in the West End (The Play That Goes Wrong, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, Groan Ups and Peter Pan Goes Wrong), and in The Play That Goes Wrong on Broadway. She originated the role of Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong and performed this character on The Goes Wrong Show on BBC One, as well as in the televised Christmas specials.

The Mischief team are one of the UK's leading improvised theatre companies. The group is formed of students and graduates from The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) who have been working together since 2007. Since then, the group has performed across the UK, created new long-form and short-form show formats, received five star reviews, won awards and performed to thousands of people. They have created five West End shows; The Play That Goes Wrong, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, Groan Ups, Magic Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong. They have also had several BBC specials, as well as an six-part BBC series, The Goes Wrong Show, which you can watch on BBC iPlayer and on DVD.
