Chapel Time - Align + Abide in Matthew 11:25-30
Transformational connection through welcome is radical hospitality.  We are celebrating a new season - season 7, the number of rest + completion! So in 2021,  let's rest as we move into revolutionary solidarity in soul care + self-care, healing, and meditation as we work (play) + rest in our personal and collective freedom. We walk out our joy + justice from the inside out—unquestionably, we all have a 'heart walk' that awaits. Whether in our triumphs or trials, we can reimagine ourselves in our ongoing healing + belonging as we choose redemptive resistance to anything that doesn't flow from the heart of the Beloved Redeemer—Yeshua. Begin The Day - A Meditative Blessing
Go deeper on the blog.  The Blessing Where I notice my life. When I nurture my life. How I embody my life. I will humbly live my life in—in the mundane. Help me elevate Your divine message in my earthiness. Help me elevate Your divine mind in my clay-thinking. Help me elevate Your divine miraculous in my mundane. Help me connect deeply in the mundane of bandaging a finger or folding laundry. Bless my awareness, my acknowledgment. Bless me to see You bandaging my belovedness. Bless me to see You folding me into the fabric of Your healing hands. Your magnificence imbues my mundane.

End of Day Restorative Guided Meditation
Discover the blog. Transcript:  This much is good. Find a place to settle your body, your holy temple. Your mind. This is the end of your day. Under the current circumstances, you’ve done your best today.  Exhale and let go of your work and choose rest - let your eyes relax. Loosen your tongue from the top of your mouth and slowly relax your lips and cheeks.  Let your shoulders fall. Let them down into your back. Let your back relax into your hips, your pelvis. There is abundance.  Inhale grace here, now. The in-breath is a life force. Now exhale and release guilt + grind. Exhaling is a life force. Your breath is new life created each and every time. You take in and you let out. In the letting out, know that you've done enough today.  It's about Presence and realignment over punitive and rejection-oriented tendencies.  Notice the tension in your body. There's a wordless story in the tension. What is that story? Begin to send love to that place. Let your nerves nurture and release you in a slow out-breath—exhale. This is your body’s, your temple’s natural relaxant.  Now slowly inhale. You've done enough for today. What is that moment like when your in-breath became your out-breath? Notice the transition. It's a moment of fullness that needs its release.  And the release comes with the out-breath. Let's release and honor the parts of yourself that leads others. Let's honor the parts of yourself that creates for others. The parts of yourself that prays + loves others. The parts of yourself that teaches + reaches out to others.  It is time for you to give to yourself. You are a spiritual + a life alchemist, let's extend that same transformational love and compassion to yourself.  Turn towards yourself. Face her apart from faulty metrics and sense the renewing presence of the Beloved.  Hear Jesus invite you, ” Come to me, I will give you rest.”  What does that rest look like when you rest from all your image management to be freed up to reflect the Divine image of Love? It is enough for all that you've done today for you to hear well done.

Day 5 | Walk in The Word Bible Study Series
Together, let's notice, nurture, and embody the divine feminine countenance (face) of God. When God gets around to creating in the divine image, they will be female and male. The Scriptures not only reveal that God (Elohim) is Spirit (John 4:24), we also see how Elohim is grammatically masculine, which doesn’t necessarily mean that God is male, but does give us the masculine language we use so often in the church. Beyond this episode, I invite my Patreon patrons to go a little deeper in an exclusive Bonus Day 5 episode: The Holy Spirit who hovered over the waters (Genesis 1) is the feminine One who also conceived Yeshua's life into the womb of Mary (Matthew 1:20). But why do we rarely hear of this feminine language? I want to invite us to reimagine and talk about the Holy Spirit as the manifestation of God that is active in our world, speaking it into life, breathing through it, and through us. We are moving in radical self-care, healing, and meditation as we take it to the outdoors and walk for justice and joy. And for my sistahs whose physical walk is limited or absent, you are blessed and highly favored—unquestionably, we all have a 'heart walk' that awaits us. Whether in our triumphs or trials, we can reimagine ourselves in our ongoing healing as we choose redemptive resistance to anything that doesn't flow from the heart of the Beloved Redeemer—Yeshua. Day 1 | Walk in The Word Bible Study Series - Juneteenth NEW Season Kickoff
Hello, Beautiful SOULjourner. Welcome to a new season kicking off this Juneteenth! It's a 22-Day Bible study series, "Walk in the Word" from my book, Healing & Held. Together, let's notice, nurture, and embody radical self-care, healing, and meditation as we take it to the outdoors and walk for justice and joy. Whether in our triumphs or trials, we can reimagine ourselves in our ongoing healing as we choose redemptive resistance to anything that doesn't flow from the heart of the Beloved Redeemer—Yeshua. Why it's significant for me to launch this new Bible study series on Juneteenth? Juneteenth is the oldest national commemoration of the ending of slavery in United States history. Juneteenth was first celebrated on June 19, 1866. In the year 2020, 154 years after that celebration, Black people are still fighting for their independence. We are still living in a country built upon white supremacy. So Juneteenth is an immensely significant day for me to launch this series and the re-release of Healing & Held in honor of my ancestors, many of whom are theologians, pastors and prophets. "Juneteenth is a celebration of perseverance in the face of wickedness; of enduring hardness like good soldiers. It is a celebration of making a way out of no way. It is a celebration of remembrance; remembering that words and proclamations, and policies mean nothing unless they are followed by actions. We celebrate because we are still here. We celebrate because no matter what this society has thrown at us we have found a way to not just survive but thrive."  - Rev. Edwin Robinson Resources: - Get your copy of Healing + Held (softcover or hardcover) or the eBook. - Bible Study Tools Tony Evans Study Bible and/or Commentary Logos Bible Software (Basic plan is free) Blue Letter Bible Bible Hub Connect and discover more from our soul care publishing studio: Pinterest: Mohawkmomma Studio Linkedin: Andrea L. Day 7: Soul Care Narrative - Outcomes
Welcome to Day 7 of your Soul Care Narrative. On Day 6, we wrote about the role of creativity in our soul care narrative. Today's invitation is to pay close attention to two outcomes: 1.  the short-term outcome of creativity's invitation and intervention in our story - this could be a shift in your attitude (orthodoxy), your feeling (orthopathy), or your behavior (orthopraxy). 2. the long-term outcome outcome... 'And because of that' short-term outcome, you not only become a willing recipient, you become a willing  conduit of something transformative and sustaining. In your journaling guide, you'll turn this part of your narrative into a manifesto — a  declaration of your God-given vision (the type of world that you dream about and wish to create). Begin your manifesto with, "I will..." The Write Your Soul Care Narrative is a FREE 10-day course. Remember, you are more than a writer, you are a soul who writes. Days 1 & 2: Soul Care Narrative - There Is Enough Good + Ortho Intro
Welcome to Days 1 and 2, SOULjourner! Truth is a language. Let's make it our mother tongue.  As souls who write, we must commit ourselves to truthful language that delights and detoxes. Today’s invitation is to guide us to acknowledge and affirm the language of abundant goodness upon ourselves as we examine a 3-part "ortho" language. Ortho means  straight, aligned, correct: Orthopraxy - "what you do" (actions/practices) Orthopathy - "what you feel" - (feelings/emotion) Orthodoxy - "what you believe" - (thoughts/attitudes) Sharing Is Caring What did you discover about your ortho language? Lent Invitation - Lend Your Lent Space To Bless, Breathe, & Relax
Lent begins in seven days, and where it ends Passover begins. What are you doing to prepare your heart to savor Jesus during the coming 40-day period leading up to Resurrection Sunday/Easter?  In one word, I want you to describe Jesus. My one word invites you to join a caravan of other SOULjourners every Wednesday until the conclusion of Passover. In solidarity, we will be fasting from going fast by adding slow to our days. How does slowing down help us become more like Jesus? How has your heart been trained to hurry?  When we intentionally discipline or train our bodies to slow down, you and I are actually habituating our hearts back towards the Beloved, Our Creator. This is part of our embodiment narrative. We will train our hearts in three ways to become more present with Jesus, ourselves, and others. We will Bless + Breathe + Relax. These three gifts will become our Lenten sanctuary of transformation. I will guide you through my Lenten devotional of blessings (some scriptural and some are my original poetic blessings). To receive the devotional, please join our soul care community.  And I will let you know when it's ready for download! Signup on the website: mohawkmommastudio.com

Part 2 Let Your Life Speak - Thoughts on Vocation
Shalom! We're on a soul care, embodied mission. It’s art and activism moving as one. Welcome to today's SOULbriety pilgrimage. Let's rest and reThink around this soul care campfire. In Genesis 2:7, we find that humans are a "living soul." People don't have a nephesh, we are a nephesh.  In the Hebraic thought we are composed of multiple parts. The body is the flesh and bones, the vessel. Your spirit (the breath) enables and animates your personal presence. The organs are viewed as the seats of thought (the heart), emotion (the kidneys), intuition (gut), etc. Unified YOU The soul is the whole of the person, the unity of the body, organs and breath. It is not some immaterial spiritual entity, it is you, all of you, your whole being or self. Part 1 Let Your Life Speak - Thoughts on Vocation
Mohawkmomma Soul is Brought to You By The Healing Manifesto Sabbath Rhythms Devotional Planner, created by Mohawkmomma In this 30-minute episode: — You’ll be encouraged to elevate curious inquiry. — You’ll be invited to notice the work your soul needs in your vocation. — You’ll feel so relieved when you embrace that you can reframe how you view and understand your vocation. — You’ll be guided in today's meditation. Fascinate and Focus - Embody 2019
We're on a soul care, embodied mission. It’s art and activism moving as one. Welcome to today's SOULbriety pilgrimage! We're back with our 30th episode of season four on the podcast. What's so significant about the embody title? I have a good reason for that... Mohawkmomma Soul is Brought to You By The Healing Manifesto Sabbath Rhythms Devotional Planner, created by Mohawkmomma In this 15-minute episode, I talk about: - An invitation to get fascinated and focused on the beauty of life rhythms that ReEducate the HEARt and help us courageously reThink and reConsider our multifaceted identity in the Beloved, Jesus. - Perspective to help you bravely and courageously reThink and reConsider what your freedom looks like in our day-to-day. - The Hebraic definition for the word soul. - The powerful role Sabbath Rhythms can play in your life. - Why you should understand the relationship between neuroscience and your to-do list. - How to embody honor your capacity and capabilities in your calendar commitments. Savoring The Actions And Attitude of Giving
As we savor the Sabbath together, we will look closely at how giving escorts us into new creative places. To give begins with an interior response (attitude/disposition), then an exterior response (words/actions).  In this minisode, I focus on the Hebrew word, nathan, which means "give" or "gift". More than a concept, giving is a creative expression that comes from the heart.  Connect with me online:  http://bit.ly/mohawkmommasoulcare  Instagram: @mohawkmommaloves
