38: Lindsay Mullenger of Petite Keep
In this episode I’m joined by Lindsay Mullenger, the founder of keepsake storage company Petite Keep. Petite Keep’s line of beautiful storage trunks and other keepsake items helps moms, brides, and families in general to store items and memories from life’s favorite moments. Lindsay is a mom if four girls herself, and shares her perspective on building Petite Keep while still working in the corporate world. I also loved chatting with her about life as a girl mom, the roles that keepsakes play in kids’ lives, the importance of carving out time and hobbies for yourself, and her unwavering support of other female entrepreneurs.

In this episode I’m joined by Lauren Robbins of Lauren Robbins Interiors. As a wife, mom of three, interior designer and business owner, Lauren knows a LOT about balancing demanding life and work schedules. Her Augusta-based firm Lauren Robbins Interiors is best known for their modern take on traditional design, and her all-female team works with families across the Southeast and beyond to infuse lifestyle and identity into their homes,while creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Lauren was so incredibly sweet and down to earth, and offered a great perspective on taking time off, making big moves, and also some tips for using high-end items in spaces with children. 34: Jennifer Teplin of Manhattan Wellness
In this episode I’m talking to Jennifer Teplin, licensed clinical social worker and the founder of boutique psychotherapy practice Manhattan Wellness. As a mom herself and therapist who specializes in supporting women, Jennifer had so much to share about her own experience with motherhood, as well as what kinds of support she thinks all moms can benefit from. Our conversation covered everything from the pros and cons of social media, to what issues couples face following the birth of a child, to differentiating the mom you thought you’d be from the mom you are. Not only was Jennifer amazing to talk to on a personal level, but this episode is full of great advice from someone who’s helped dozens of women through the challenging years of new motherhood.

In this episode I’m talking to Elizabeth Kendrick, the founder of smocked children’s clothing company Ann & Reeves Kids. After having her daughter, Elizabeth was eager to find clothes for her that were affordable and celebration-worthy, no matter the occasion. She took the leap while on maternity leave and started Ann + Reeves Kids as a side hustle to her full time job (in addition to also being a wife and a mother). Today, Elizabeth successfully runs her business while also maintaining a traditional corporate career. Her unique situation gives her the perfect perspective to offer great advice on juggling competing priorities, including how to let certain things go without guilt or outsource tasks to others. 32: Marghi Adzick of Addison Bay
I’m so excited to welcome a guest I’ve been wanting to have since starting this podcast- Marghi Adzick, fellow Philadelphian and founder of activewear company Addison Bay. Marghi’s has accomplished a LOT in the last five years! She launched Addison Bay in 2018, and since then has grown the company tremendously. During that time, she also had three children, and has learned to juggle life as an entrepreneur with being a hands-on parent. In this episode Marghi shares so much about the lessons she’s learned since becoming a mom and business owner, from her experience with IVF, to how her exercise habits have changed, to what transitions have been the hardest. In this episode I’m talking to Marissa Galante Frank, fashion director in beauty and accessories at Bloomingdale’s. Having been in the fashion industry for over a decade, Marissa shared the story of how she’s gotten where she is today, as well as how she’s adapted to balancing work and mom life since having her daughter a few years ago. From dealing with the mom guilt that comes from work travel, to finding female mentorship, to items that have boosted her confidence as she expects her second child, we had a wonderful and candid conversation about what motherhood has looked like for her in the corporate world. In this episode I’m talking to sisters-in-law. Liza and Sallie Pruitt, co-founders of The Pruitt Shop, an online marketplace for quality art prints and home goods including printed napkins and tablecloths. 20: Sophia Demirtas of Fanm Mon
In this episode I’m talking to Sophia Demirtas, mom of two boys and founder of beautiful clothing line Fanm Mon, a line of dresses and apparel that take their inspiration from Sophia’s home country of Haiti. The brand was launched in 2013 but has exploded in the last few years, and all Fanm Mon pieces are created by artisans in Turkey. The dresses, sweaters, and other clothing items are colorful and feminine, reflecting the influence of nature, and are available on sites like Tuckernuck, Over the Moon, and Couper. Sophia has lived in Haiti, the US, and Turkey, and shared the most beautiful perspectives on female influence, sustainability, motherhood, and raising children. 19: Veronika Paluch of Veronika Paluch Photography
In this episode I’m talking to Veronika Paluch, mom of two and owner of Veronika Paluch Photography. Veronika is based in the western Philadelphia suburbs and focuses on portraits of expecting mothers, newborns, and young families. She spent time in several other fields before settling into her creative passion as a photographer, and both her work and personal life are incredibly influenced by her experiences as a mother. Today, she offers full-studio photography, including wardrobe and hair and makeup for moms and their families. 14: Kate Stewart of Bauble Stockings
This episode kicks off a bit of holiday cheer in a conversation with Kate Stewart, founder of Bauble Stockings, a line of timeless, traditional mini-stocking designed to be heirlooms for each family member. 13: Artists Kiki Slaughter & Abby Kasonik
In this episode I’m chatting with Kiki Slaughter and Abby Kasonik, established contemporary artists who recently collaborated on a line of sculptural lighting available on 1st Dibs. Both have roots in Charlottesville, Virginia, and made names for themselves as abstract painters before moving into design projects as well- Abby with sculptural lamps, mirrors, and other objects, and Kiki with wall coverings and textiles. The result of their collaboration is a set of beautiful, playful but sophisticated lighting that creates an incredible statement. Both women are mothers to elementary-aged children, and share how they’ve balanced their creative careers with family life. Our conversation brought some thoughtful points about resume gaps, the importance of the arts, and female friendship.

12: Leah Melby Clinton of In Kind
This episode features Leah Melby Clinton, the co-founder of In Kind, a biannual print magazine that covers the intersection of style, careers, and motherhood in a beautiful, relatable way. Leah has a long career history as a fashion editor and writer, having worked with several Conde Nast and Hearst publications including ELLE and Cosmopolitan, and she still works full-time in fashion writing and digital content. In addition, she’s also the mother to two young children, and is a living testament to the fact that you can always find time for what you’re passionate about. I loved her candor and reflection about work, motherhood, and everything in between.

Today's episode features Caroline Keating Gilroy, co-founder of Couper, a luxury fashion retailer focusing on emerging designers and sustainability. Caroline has a career background in fashion and technology, and is also the mother of two toddlers, making her accomplishments over the past few years that much more impressive. 10: Lisi Lerch on Mom Guilt, Made It Moments, and Letting Go
Today’s guest, Lisi Lerch, is a longtime favorite designer of mine! Lisi has been incredibly successful with her eponymous brand of colorful earrings and accessories. Since starting her company in the early 2000s, Lisi’s items have been worn and featured by celebrities including Cameron Wimberly, the Hilton family, Oprah, and Martha Stewart Weddings. Incredibly, she also has three teenage children, who she raised as a stay at home mom while simultaneously growing her business. Lisi’s personality was just as fun as you’d expect from her style and collections- I’m so happy she agreed to share some of her experiences with you.

In this episode I’m excited to welcome Emma Kozlowski, mom of three and founder of Eighteen Summers.
