Established December 22, 2014, by founding members – Eric Hansen, Brian Hillman, Tyy Ward, Heath Hudson, Jim Harding, Richy Laughery, and Jerry Ward, four of us had attended a kayak bass tournament in the fall of 2014, on Pony Creek Lake, Iowa and we all had an absolute blast. We wanted to bring that excitement to the Ozarks!
Current Mo-Yak Fishing Series leadership includes President Joshua Boothe, and Tournament Directors Richy Laughery and Jeff Mellencamp, along with a few advisors within the Mo-Yak group.

MoYak Fishing Series: Stockton Lake Recap
Stockton Lake is in the books. Dorman, Lance and DJ come out on top Respectively. This created a huge play in the AOY of the year.
Our 3rd place finisher and FeelFree Kayaks Rookie of the year DJ Williams joins us tonight and talks about Stockton and his year with MoYak.

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Pomme de Terre 2020 Beedle brought the Juice
Tommy Probst and Darian Beedle sit down and talk about their day on the water om Pomme de Terre. Both anglers finished second and first receptively.
Darian finished the day with a 22.5 monster bass to give him a substantial lead over the rest of the completion.
Congrats to Tommy and Darian and good luck on the rest of the season!

Our next event is Pomme de Terre and we are looking forward to it!

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Taneycomo Recap
Taneycomo is in the books and we are off to our next stop. Not before we talk to some of the top contenders of Taneycomo.
Richie McMichael was able to join us again as he came off a 3rd place finish at this event. New guest Josh Martin joins us as well and did very well at Taneycomo. He could not over come Dorman Hughey's rain over his home water ha he finished 2nd and Dorman taking home 1st prize.
It was fun to see 57 anglers jam into a small body of water like Taneycomo.

New to 2020 is the Huk Bassmasters B.A.S.S Nation Kayak Series powered by TourneyX. This is a huge step in the kayak community and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to be involved with BASS.

Finally were were able to meet up and have a live event! It was one for the record books!
Jim Harding absolutely put it on everyone! Multiple hourly big bass winner and also big bass of the day. Jim talks to us about his day and how all the pieces just fell together making him a huge winner on Saturday!
Truman is an absolute beast of a fishery, we cannot wait to see what happens at the All-American later on this year!

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: 2019 KBF National Champion Mike Elsea
While fishing Table Rock we ran into Mike Elsea and invited him to be on the podcast, as you know is the 2019 KBF National Champion.
Mike was kind enough to take some time out of his busy schedule for some dock talk. Mike talks to us about how it all got started out for him and how far he has come. If you see Mike out at one of the events make sure to say hi and pick his brain, he is a super nice guy and a pleasure to talk to.

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Missouri May Madness winner Richie McMichael
The Missouri May Madness has finally wrapped up and it has been a grind!
Richie McMichael is the victor over Johnathan Dominguez in the final. Richie fished all over Missouri to get this win and is definitely a stick here in Missouri and even competing in Kansas.
Truman lake is right around the corner and not only are we live but we have a bunch of news concerning the tournament. Not to mention Everhart's Outdoors is donating Nucanoe kayak to give away to one the Mo-Yak members. Make sure you do not miss the tournament at Truman!
Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Table Rock Recap with guest Marty Hughes
As we wrapped up the Table Rock tournament; we also have finished the May online, Table Rock Team Trail, and getting closer to the final of the Missouri May Madness Bracket.
This episode we got to talk to one of the true OG kayak anglers, Mr. Marty Hughes aka Kayakjak. He talks to us about his time at Table Rock and how his tournament went. Honored to have this gentleman on the show.

We are headed to Table Rock Lake this weekend and it should be a good one! KBF will be joining us on Saturday and will have a second event on Sunday. It is not too late to get signed up for those two events.
Congrats to those who have qualified for the 2021 KBF National Championship at Lake of the Ozarks. Also those who have made it to the Final 4 in the Missouri May Madness bracket tournament.

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Trail Series #1 Lake of the Ozark
Trail series #1 is in the books and what a day it was on the water.
We talk to Brian Hillman about his day on the water at Lake of the Ozarks. Brian won the first series for 2020 with 85.75" and his largest of 19.75". Plenty of limits were caught but Brian had the best bag. Congratulations on your victory at LOZ.

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: Bassing Bob - Lake of the Ozarks Report
Lake of the Ozarks is just a few days away and we have the scoop from our special guest.
We had the privilege to sit down with Bassing Bob Bueltman. He is just coming off a 4th place finish at Lake of the Ozarks in a Anglers in Action tournament. Not only has he been successful on the lake but he is on the water daily and was able to give us plenty of information about the lake. We are very excited to kick off the 2020 season this weekend at Lake of the Ozarks.

Mo-Yak Fishing Series: April Online
At first we thought there were some big numbers in March but we were wrong!
Dorman Hughey and Brennan Banks shut down the field both with almost 110 inches for 5 fish for each of them. Brennan ended up taking the Big Bass Pot but Dorman took home first place.
Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake, Covid-19 updates, kayak tip of the week, and Facebook questions answered are some of the other topics covered in this Episode.
The Missouri State Champion: Troy Enke
We got the opportunity to sit down with the Missouri State Champion Mr. Troy Enke.
Troy shares his roller coaster ride of a weekend that lead him to one of the greatest finishes he has had. Not only did he win the Missouri Championship but he also won the 2019 Bonafide KBF TRAIL Central Regional Final. It was not only a proud moment for Troy but also for the Mo-Yak family.
Mo-Yak spring is in the air and the fish are biting. We have plenty of announcement to get excited about and glad you are apart of this journey with us. We have the feeling like everything is coming back together and we cannot wait to see you at our first live event.

Our March online tournament has wrapped up and we had some guys hammer some fish.

Lance talks to us about Logan Martin and Lake Fork where he finished 5th in both events.
