The harsh criticism of Japanese wives by foreign men is so biased and narrow-minded that it’s almost laughable. In his post, He claims that Japanese wives change a lot after marriage and having children. I think making a statement such as a '○○ wife is □□' is a racist and foolish way of thinking. What do you all think about this?

今回はとてもいろんな事が起きたバリ旅行についてです。後にも先にもあんなにハプニングが起きるのはもう無いと思います。（というかそう願いたいです。）

This week's episode is about my Bali trip in April this year. It was such an eventful trip that I will remember for the rest of my life.

完璧な国って本当にないんですよね。カナダは再三「生きやすい国」だという事は言ってきましたが「日本ほど住みやすい国」では無い事を今一度申し上げたいと思います。カナダにも日本と同じように国民保険制度がありまして、医療に関してはアメリカほど崩壊はしていませんし、お金が理由で医療を受けられないという事はありません。が、やはり制度は少し日本と違いますし、少し日本人からすると不便だと感じる制度になっています。以前も一回カナダの医療制度については話しているのですが今一度ザックリと日本との違いを少しご紹介します。

There really is no perfect country. I've often mentioned that Canada is a 'livable country,' but I want to emphasize once again that it is not as comfortable to live in as Japan. Canada has a national insurance system similar to Japan's, and its healthcare system is not as fragmented as in the U.S., so money does not usually prevent people from receiving medical care. However, the system is still somewhat different from Japan's and can be considered inconvenient from a Japanese perspective. I've discussed Canada's healthcare system before, but I would like to highlight the key differences from Japan again.

今回はLonoさんと就活詐欺の話をしてみました。たまたまツイッターでLonoさんの就活のツイートを見て詐欺の匂いがしたのでお節介だとは思いつつもリプしてみたら後日やはりそうのようだったとのこと。私が経験した詐欺にも手法が似ているので今回は警告も兼ねて二人の経験を比べてみる事に！

I invited Lono to my show to talk about job-hunting scams. I happened to see Lono’s tweets about job hunting on Twitter and it felt like a scam, so I decided to reply, even though I thought it might be a bit intrusive. Later, it turned out that it was indeed a scam. Since the method used is similar to the scam I experienced, I decided to compare our experiences this time as a warning.

今回は八坂神社での事件についてです。前々から思ってはいた事ですが日本の移民についても話しています。この先日本がどうなってしまうのか最近は不安でしょうがないです。

今回は先日のアカデミー賞でちょい燃した事件についてです。

北米では人種差別はまだまだ根深く繊細な問題です。カナダで人種差別が無いなんて事はありません。大っぴらにやってないだけです。世界的な表彰式でもアジア人がどれだけ当たり前のように見下されているのかが証明されました。しかも多分悪気はないので余計やばいです。w

これが無意識な差別だという事を証明してくれる我が旦那の反応と会話を最後におまけで入れてますのでよかったら聞いてみてください。

We're discussing the recent incident at the Academy Awards that stirred up some controversy.

Racism remains a deeply rooted and sensitive issue in North America. It’s not true that Canada is free from racism; it's just less overt. The global awards ceremony highlighted how Asians are often looked down upon as a matter of course. What's even more troubling is that it might not have been intentional, which makes it even worse.

A lot has been going on, and before I knew it, over six months had passed without updates as I used busyness as an excuse. However, things are finally settling down, so I’d like to resume updating. 今回はまた大学に関する事です。日本ではまだメジャーでは無いですがカナダなどの欧米諸国では一般的でかなりベネフィシャルな習慣だと思うので是非紹介したいと思い、エピソードにまとめてみました。若い頃の時間は貴重な分その影響力も大きいです。なので日本国内のみの習慣に従うのでは無く、世界目線でのいろいろな習慣などもみて将来設計や選択をするのも悪く無いのでは無いのかなと思います。

今回はカナダの新しい祝日についての紹介です！まだ知られていない日ではありますがカナダにとってはとても大事な日だと思います。カナダに居るのであればカナダをもっと良く知ると言う意味でも少し知っておいた方が良いかもしれません。

今回はメンタルヘルスについてです！両国のメンタルヘルスに対する認識がかなり違うなぁという事に最近気づいたので少しお話してみました。改めて国によって考え方が違うのだなぁと思いました。

日本人の特色が抗議活動に発展するまでに至らないのかなぁと思いました。やっぱり日本人は平和的なのかも？皆さんはどう思いますか？追釈：エピソード内でアメリカと比べているところがありますがカナダと含めて北米という意味で捉えていただけると幸いです。

カナダでは出産後のアフターケアはそこそこで速攻退院させられます。ですが国民保険によりカバーされるので費用の個人負担はありません。ここだけ聞くとなんか日本の方がいい気もしますが私はどっちにも良い所があるのではと思っています。

Canada and Japan both are known for their amazing health care system, however, they are not the same either. I am talking about the differences when it comes to baby delivery.

キャンプマジでいいですね。特に電波が届かない所笑。現実を忘れられるので本当にお勧めです。

今回はコロナの中でのカナダ入国についての記録です。やはり普段の入国とは必要書類も雰囲気も違いますね。PCR検査が必要な分お金も時間もかかりますし、観光では入国出来ないのでそこもまたいつもと違いますよね。ですがこのコロナ渦でもワーホリや留学生っぽい人が多くいたので本当に素晴らしいなぁと思いました。

This is a record of me entering Canada during Covid time. I think this will be an episode to go back when covid is all over. It was quite an experience to travel during the covid time and I just want to thank the people who are working to make people like us be united with their families. I could not have done this without them working so hard during this hard time.

今回はカナダの有名なお土産アイスワインについてです。日本での認知度はわりかし低いかなぁと思ったのでピックアップしてみました。アイスワインの飲み方や歴史、値段など基本情報をご紹介。

Ice wine is not particularly popular in Japan but it is a great Canadian souvenir. I am talking about its price range, history and the way you can enjoy it.

今回は我がブリティッシュコロンビア州の州都であるビクトリアについてです。何回も行った事があるので個人的におすすめなスポットなどをご紹介します。中華街がカナダで一番古い中華街って知らなかったです。何年経ってもわからない事だらけですね笑。

It is all about Victoria today. I had no idea that Victoria is the capital of BC for a VERY LONG time lol. Victoria is such a beautiful city and you must visit if you are close by.

Having citizenship from certain countries in itself is a privilege. Japanese passport is one of the best passports to have when it comes to travel. However, most don't know that and some even ended up never living in the country.

今回はカナダのアンチワクチン派の実情を少し追ってみました。私自身はワクチン推進派なのでまったく理解ができていなかったのですが、なんとなくではありますがアンチワクチン派の気持ちが少しわかるような気がします。

How do anti-vaxxers evolve? That was my biggest question and this time I finally understood how they evolved and why they believe what they believe. 

今回は日系人にゆかりのある観光地、スティーブストンについてです。かなり可愛い街で観光にももってこいですし、日系人ゆかりのある土地なので訪れる価値はあるかと思います。

Steveston is a small historical fisherman's town that is located close to Richmond.

It is not easy to obtain a work permit in Canada, but if you study in Canada, you may be able to get one. I think that is the easiest way to obtain a work permit in Canada.

今考えると本当に良くも悪くも愉快な同僚達が集まっていたなぁと思います。笑い。今回は私の人生初の仕事場でのお話を少しご紹介。

My very first full-time job was in Canada as a pharmacy assistant. It was such an intense experience. I learned A LOT from this job. lol
