The Value of Therapy with Tiffany Uzor MS, NCC, LPC, CAM II
Welcome audience to a discussion on the value of Therapy with Tiffany Uzor MS, NCC, LPC, CAM II. She is a Certified Therapist.
Going to a therapist is not shame but courage. It shows you want a different outcome from what you have been dealing with. Therapy often provides an opportunity for value clarification. Values, which may be described as behavioral standards and needs that work to support a person's purpose and vision, are often a guide in decision making, and a particular individual's values can be defined as what that person holds to be right or good.
Season 2/Episode5: Ogechi/Tiffany
- Introduction of Tiffany

Everyone's journey is different but here are tips that are helpful to manage through grief:
There are several stages of Grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance
Leverage your support system and if you don't have one create one.
The goal is not to go through it alone. Have someone to talk to in your circle, church, etc.

The Nigeria Fashion Industry with CEO Iheyinwa Onwuasoanya
Happy New Year!
I wanted to kick off the year to focus on our dreams and how to accomplish our purpose. I have a special guest Iheyinwa, who is accomplishing her purpose. Iheyinwa is the CEO of DicheWear & ShopDiche, which is an excellent Nigerian American women's clothing brand.
We deep drive into one of Nigerians favorite pass time, which is fashion for our social events. Nigerians are always ready for a party, i.e., Milestone Birthdays, Weddings, Birth of a Child, Funerals, etc. Of course, we need to dress to the ends for these events. Both our men and women are equal opportunity offenders :), but the ladies, from the shoe, bag to match, the head wrap (Gele) and of course the makeup. No one has anything on us when it comes to fashion.
What is exciting is seeing the fashion industry in Nigerian blossom to the rest of the world. Where major fashion houses are incorporating our designs, tv shows and the movie industry but what makes me proud, is the creation of our own fashion designers that have evolved from the basic wrapper/skirt and blouse styles.
Iheyinwa and I discuss how she got into this industry and her passion for Ankara. She provides the background of Ankara, the different types of Ankara and the evolution of the production houses. We also discuss sizing for my audience interested into getting a piece of her clothing.
DichWear & ShopDiche focuses on ladies ready to wear clothing for work, play and everything in between. You can definitely dress up or down her cloths for any events. I know because I own a lot of her pieces. She is available in the United States and Nigeria.
She can be reached via Instagram or her websites: she offers great delivery as well from nigeria as well.
- United States: @shopdiche or www.shopusdiche.com, Etsy-Shop Diche
- Nigeria: @dichewear or www.dichewear.com.ng
It’s always a season to shop :), check out her beautiful pieces to look HOT all year long.
Don't forget to get vaccinated and wear your mask. Be safe and healthy.
Thanks for listening and hope you enjoyed this episode.
The Positives, Values and Importance of Friendship
Listen as I deep dive into the positives, values and importance of friendship. I hope you learn from this episode and please share your thoughts by sending your voice messages or responding to my Q & A.
For the last few years, I understand and appreciate the friendships in my life. For me, I have friends from different backgrounds, and they are not just high school or college classmates that I cherish. I worked for a company, during their annual surveys, would ask if I had a friend in the workplace? Now, I understand the reason & value of that that question.
We all need friends to support, guide and have fun with through our life journeys. We all need people to learn from, confide in, trust, be ourselves, respect, love unconditionally and to be there when you need them in any capacity. I used to be closed off and held everything close to my chest or should I say vest :). I have learned, sharing and opening up to others, reminds me that I am not alone, eliminates judgement of myself and others but most importantly I learn to be empathetic and loving to others.
Thanks for my support system, that include but not limited to the following: sisters, brothers, Chuks, Kenechi, Uzor's, Funmi, Jane, FGGC Benin sisters, Emeka, Bunmi, Kenny, Bukky*2, Folake*2, Rinu, Ifeoma, Rekiat, Sammy, Debo, Odun, Ade, Goke, Ike, Cara, Kaykay, Naija Group, this list is long, but you get the point. Without them, I would not be who I am today. I love all my friends; they all bring me joy and I value and respect them all. Be Safe and Healthy during the holiday season. Wear your mask and get vaccinated.
