Hart Hanson Emmy-award winning creator of Bones

Hanson is the Emmy-award winning creator, writer, and show runner of the hit TV show Bones, the longest-running scripted hour-long series on the FOX Network. His debut novel, The Driver, was heralded by The New York Times Book Review, The San Francisco Book Review, New York Post, and more. Hart has taken to his new novel THE SEMINARIAN to pen a story of acerbic humor and wit while exploring the importance of friendship, family, faith, and humanity in the face of life’s curveballs and seediest rings. Xavier “Priest” Priestly is a snarky former seminarian turned private investigator who gets thrown into a high stakes twisted murder mystery when the girlfriend of his good friend suddenly disappears and an assassin appears to stop him before he has the chance to investigate. Showing surprising tenderness, The Seminarian is a distinctive thriller that is as entertaining as it is insightful. A California resident, Hart Hanson will also be in New York City next month to promote and discuss his propulsive new novel if you would like to set up anything in studio. With his own brand of cleverness and energetic character, I know your audience would enjoy Hart’s stories, humor, and observations.

Comedian Mike Glazer

Comedian Mike Glazer

Like most comedians, Glazer found a need for laughter in his life while growing up in a dark atmosphere. He is diagnosed Manic Bi-Polar and grew up with Schizophrenia among other mental illnesses in his household and immediate family. At a young age, he found ways to make his mother laugh in order to keep their family home from being too intense and furthering his own mental health issues. He is open about being on medication for his diagnosis and hope that doing so will help others (especially men) feel that they can normalize the conversation and get help. From earning a Gold Medal with Team USA as a roller hockey goalie, performing alongside Dave Chapelle (who saw him performing at his monthly sold-out show Glazed at the Hollywood Improv and decided to jump up on stage – they ended up singing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ together), to cooking alongside Gordon Ramsay (after being featured on Worst Cooks in America and then going to Culinary School), Glazer has a multitude of talents, wild stories and anecdotes to share.

Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley interviews John Ondrasik. Grammy® nominated singer-songwriter John Ondrasik, otherwise known as FIVE FOR FIGHTING, would like to talk about the “Music Matters Challenge” that just launched on March 26 and will run through April 30, which is a national online music challenge that will help raise awareness and dedicate resources for music programs in the nation’s underserved schools. Two grand prizes will be awarded – one for an individual ($10,000 in cash and the opportunity to select a music teacher to receive a three year salary); and one for school entries (a $25,000 school grant). John created the challenge with Cayley Tullman of the Tullman Family Office, after the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Tullman, and a group of eight students participated in weekly after-school workshops to compose an original song, “Let Music Fill My World,” which expressed why music mattered in their lives. The students wrote all of the verses in the song themselves, and had the opportunity to professionally record their song and create a music video with the help of seasoned industry music producers. As a part of this effort, the Tullman Family Office fully funded a full-time music teacher for the students at Chicago’s Farragut Career Academy, which propelled the idea to create the “Music Matters Challenge.” Listen to “Let Music Fill My World” HERE. FIVE FOR FIGHTING is currently on a U.S. tour showcasing worldwide hit songs from John’s Platinum-selling career, backed by a string quartet.
