We\u2019re at our most inspired, most loving, most creative when we listen to the lives of the women who came before us. And that\u2019s what the Monday Muse is all about. Together we will find inspiration for the week from the women before us, those who have boldly chased their dreams, defied stereotypes, and lived a life of purpose and passion despite the rest of the world telling them not to.

Let us rejoice in the presence of the free-thinkers, the ingenues, the barrier breakers, the visionaries!

And today, our inaugural Monday Muse embodies those values. Her life encompasses everything we need a little bit more of these days: passion, devotion, understanding, and unbridled talent and love across gender and racial lines.
