Let's Talk Mom 2 Mom

This week I had the opportunity to chat with another Chicago Native and social media expert Michelle Thames. What most people don't know is there is a strategy running your business via social media which includes more than just posting your products. 

Realistically speaking at lease 1/3 of my income from my business is made just by social media, or from individuals who found me using Instagram. This is why it was extremely important to bring an expert to the show.

The world took a tragic and unexpected loss with the recent deaths of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi. His death showed us that we are all living on borrowed time. It is also the inspiration of this week's episode. 

It is time to STOP RUNNING and begin living a purpose filled life. This requires you to discover your purpose, heal from past hurt and pain, and commit to a better future. 

To Stop running is to start dealing with situations as they occur. I encourage you to get out of your own way. You have the strength and tools to live a purpose filled life.

During this episode I had the opportunity to interview Carmelita McRoy single mom of 5 and a fellow life coach.

She is also owner of a company called Speaking Truth. Her company assist women and teens, in living the extraordinary life that they were created to live through adversity by One-on-One coaching, webinars, conferences, and workshops. She specializes in assisting single moms because she's been through that journey. She currently resides in Independence, Missouri and her motto is "Expect It, Believe It, Receive It!"

Have you ever considered walking away from your corporate job? Are you currently on the fence about leaving your job to become a full time entrepreneur? Do you have an exit strategy for leaving? Being honest, I've left two corporate positions. 

I was tired of being underpaid and unappreciated. I was fed up from leaving paycheck to paycheck and I was eager for more. However, I didn't have a full action plan or exit strategy in place. This caused me to fall right on my face. 

Before you walk away from that job, there's a few things I want you to consider.
