We're an independent multimedia music publication and community platform based in Brooklyn, NY. Our mission is to create a platform for underground artists and music scenes that usually go ignored. Social media can bring disparate DIY communities together from around the world who would otherwise not be aware of each other. We see this as an opportunity to create unique content that isn't being produced.

Episode 21 - An Interview With Bruiser Beep and A Dive Into "Bridges," A PGH Compilation
Happy New Release Friday, friends! Spring is here and we're ready to welcome the warm weather with another glimpse into the Pittsburgh music scene.
This episode features music from the upcoming release of Bridges, a 21-song compilation by local tape label Crafted Sounds. There's a ton of great music on this thing, but we only had time to talk about a few including; Merce Lemon, Bat Zuppel, Soft Gondola, The Lopez, Princex, Barlow, and Short Fictions!
Enjoy an interview with fellow PGH musician Bruiser Beep, who is also included on the compilation. We talk about their upbringing in Oil City, PA as well as doing the DIY music thing. (It was recorded in the back of MIGHTY's van so we have a few surprise guests!
"Bridges" is out everywhere 4/13/19 and the release show is at Spirit Lodge in Pittsburgh, PA on 4/12/19.

Episode 20 - An Interview With Squid And A Peek Into The Chicago Music Scene
Can you believe we made it all the way to 20 episodes? Neither can we, but we're gonna just keep going with it! Plug in your earbuds or turn up or radio cause this one is a doozy!
Ian is joined this week by co-hosts Cody Clark and Mikey Law to discuss all things the Windy City! Topics of discussion range from visiting the Chicago Music Exchange, peeing in traffic, and eating shitty deep dish pizza. No matter what their opinion on deep dish might be, all three can agree that Chicago's music scene is no joke.
Speaking of music, this episode includes reviews of new releases from The Great Deceivers, DROOL, Krozer, Sonny Falls, and of course, the interviewees of the episode, Squid. They were kind enough to let us premiere a brand new single called "Big Red" off their forthcoming album Soda Pop due 5/20. Feel free to skip to the 25 minute mark to hear "Big Red" and the interview without our ramblings!
Squid is a progressive, shoegaze, math/weirdo rock band who played their final show last June at Pittsburgh's own Mr. Roboto Project. Ian had the pleasure of sitting with them for a few minutes before their gig and started to talk about the beginning of the band, the future for all four of them, and all things "Watersports and Soda Pop".
We hope you love this episode and if you enjoyed any of the music you heard this episode, go buy a song or like a band page. Anything helps and in this day and age its more important than ever to support our local music scenes! Tune in next Friday for more of the best music you haven't heard yet!

Episode 16 - Interview w/ Zack Schiavetta; Review: Big Bliss, Peel DREAM Magazine, and Stove
This episode also includes reviews of fellow NYC artists including Big Bliss, Peel DREAM Magazine, and Stove. Brooklyn really had a great year this year music wise. Episode 15 - Interview w/ Club Night - Reviews: Miserable, Young Jesus, and Belle Mare
Ian sits down with Club Night (Oakland, CA) at Cafe Verona a few weeks ago to talk about their new album What Life, out early next year via Tiny Engines. Its a great conversation on being a collective more than a band and the journeys we make through scenes and music. There is even a little Halloween conversation at the end since this episode was recorded on Halloween!
