Ep 15: Year in Review
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Graduate, Interrupted is back for 2023 and ready to discuss lessons, achievements, and goals for the new year. Cheers!
Ep 14: Burnout
In today's episode, I gave a short synopsis of the book Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Amelia Nagoski, which has completely changed my life and perspective on work, school, and all other aspects of life!
Ep 13: Self-Compassion
Being kind to yourself is hard. It's not taught in school and some of us didn't have family and people around to show us how. The best thing you can do for your mental health and open the path to healing is to practice self-compassion, just like I did today when I had a breakdown.

Ep 11: Setting Boundaries
Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year is perfect for discussing how and when to set boundaries, especially with family members. Workplace and relationship boundaries are also super important to understand and both are investigated in today's episode!

Ep 10: Serious Relationships in Your 20's with Trevor Dow
Trevor Dow, Noel's boyfriend, joins us in this episode to discuss what exactly it mean to be in a serious relationship in your 20's. What are the sacrifices? How to do long-distance? What makes a healthy relationship? Listen to find out!
Ep 9: Revisiting Childhood Interests
Harry Potter, Disneyland, and Wizard101 are just a few of the things I LOVED as a kid and I use as a healing tool for my inner child when I get stressed or anxious. What're yours? Come listen and brainstorm!
Ep 8: Boomerification of Gen Z
DISCLAIMER: Many times throughout the podcast I say things like "no one will bully a gay person anymore" or that the LGBTQ+ community is socially acceptable and I want to acknowledge that that isn't the truth everywhere. I had the general internet population in mind when saying those things. ALSO I know I forgot about gen x!! They just kind of seem like less intense millennials and I have no opinion on them.
This episode I dove into how gen Z's have taken on the boomer mentality of bullying and putting down those who step out of the norm, aka the boomerification of gen z.
Ep 7: Personality Tests
Both formal and informal personality tests can be useful in figuring out your career, learning your study and learning style, and give overall tips and advice on how to go about living your life. However, there are also some drawbacks and cons to using informal tests that I discuss.
Ep 6: Halloween Traditions
What's scarier than post-graduation living? Halloween! This week we take a break from career and school talk and discuss happier topics such as halloween movies, theme parks, and drinks.
Ep 5: Hermione Granger Era
Now that I'm in my Master's program in psychology and found something that I genuinely enjoy, I find myself engaging with the content and professors so much more than I was in undergrad, hence the "Hermione Granger." Finding something that captivates your interest is so important and I felt like it was never truly possible until now. Your mission now is to find something that sparks that intrigue in you and makes putting effort in fun.
Ep 4: Career
Having people interrogate you on your career path is the absolute WORST, right? why is there so much pressure to know what you wanna be as a literal kid? I give my unsolicited opinion on hustle culture, careers, and why you should just cut yourself some slack.
Ep 3: Living Alone
Today I dove into my living situation and the struggles that come with living alone after living with multiple close friends over the years. ALSO!! I want this podcast to be a reverse advice column where I share my struggles and problems and you guys message me with your thoughts, advice, or anything else you want to add to the topic and I'll do another episode going through all those! This episode could also be a drinking game if you take a shot anytime I day "living alone, FYI.
Ep 2: Friend Groups With Callan Morrison
Introducing Callan Morrison, who has been my best friend for 4 years, roommate for 3, and ride or die for life. We talked about the formation, function, and dissolution of friend groups in college, as well as continuing friendships after graduation.
Ep 1: The Culture Shock of Leaving College
In this episode we discuss the different stages of college life, the major differences between college life and "adult" life (aka post-grad life), and Noel gives some advice on how to cope with it... because she obviously knows how, right?
