Luckily, his best mates, Tyler and Sarah, were forced to go to the party as well. When the party end time arrives and passes the kids quickly realize that something is wrong. None of the parents have arrived to pick up their children. Taking matters into their own hands, Thomas, Tyler and Sarah evade the party staff and make their way to the haunted Greenfield House where their parents were supposed to have been at a party of their own. Lee Hwa suggests they make their own fun by crafting their own Halloween masks instead. When she overhears their plan, their guardian, Ms. Diana, a fairy godmother in training, directs them to a magic chest in the attic that contains all sorts of materials they can use. Once completed, the masks are imbued with magical properties that enable the kids to see and avoid the germs.
