Through Free Out of School Time and Summer Enrichment Programs that give at risk and troubled youth in Baltimore City a safe space in their community but also provides opportunities to experience cultural, social, recreational, philanthropic, and professional experiences within the City and surrounding areas through field trips and daily youth development that teaches young people to grow and enhance their life, character, social and leadership skills.

In this episode, Jazzmine and I talk business - the business side of doing good.
Jazzmine Nolan is a North St. Louis, MO native , holds a Bachelors of Arts in Healthcare Management from Harris Stowe State University, followed by her Masters in Public Administration from Lindenwood University and now her doctorate in Public Administration-Public Health from Walden University.
Jazzmine is a nonprofit Founder providing mentorship, step team coaching, pageantry scholarships, entrepreneurship training and housing to young women ages 16-25 since 2007. Jazzmine established her own nonprofit consulting firm called Marie Management after 10 years in the nonprofit sector so she speaks from experience from both sides of the industry.
She builds corporate responsibility programs, community initiatives, trusts, nonprofits and non-government organizations for for-profit companies nationally and internationally. Her for profit clientele has a minimum net income of $1M annually with goals of incorporating nonprofits into their business model that impact vulnerable populations. However, 75% of the profits earned from Marie Management are donated directly to her self titled nonprofit to ensure continued youth programming.

Dahlia Freeman-Downs is the Founder & CEO of Seeds of Courage, Inc whose mission is to provide financial assistance to domestic violence victims to obtain financial freedom and independence. Dahlia was once a victim of domestic violence and did not know the full impact of her financial situation until she left her abuser. It wasn't until she was left with no money and three children to provide for that she realized that there was a lack of services that provided financial assistance to victims of domestic violence.
Jamais Burts is the Founder & CEO of Bro Code Baltimore, Inc. Through Bro Code Baltimore K-12 students receive academic enrichment, life skills workshops, cultural enrichment, and comprehensive mentoring services. In 2011, she unfortunately loss her brother to gun violence. With this loss, she knew something greater had to come from her pain. After years of working with and for other nonprofits she decided it was time to start her own.
