The Now Go! Podcast with Jenna Van Mourik

By Jenna Van Mourik

Did you know the word "GO" appears in the Bible over 1,500 times? In 2017, Jenna Van Mourik felt called by God to go create an online blog where she could share uplifting fiction, encourage others, and maybe even publish something of her own one day. She eventually published her debut novel, Jerusalem's Daughter, in 2021. Through her experiences, she hopes to inspire others to live what she calls a "Now Go!" lifestyle and follow God's leading in their own lives. This podcast is perfect for readers and writers of Christian fiction, as well as others looking for uplifting, relatable content.

Even If: Praying for God's Will in Our Lives

Even If: Praying for God's Will in Our Lives

Sometimes in the midst of a difficult time, it can be easy to just make requests of God that we as humans think will fix all of our problems. Our prayers have a lot of requests, sometimes some praises, but they don’t always allow much room for God to work in different ways. What if we are worshipping the things we want more than we are worshipping the God who can fulfill all of our desires in miraculous ways, but only if we allow Him the space to work? In today's episode of The Now Go! Podcast, Jenna talks through the Lord's Prayer, Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, and some recent experiences in the last year of her life that have reminded her of just how much God cares about His children, and what a privilege it is to be able to carry everything to Him in prayer! Sometimes, when we are looking for God to heal the physical, we need to let Him heal our hearts first. What Chronic Illness Taught Me About Life (and Writing a Book!)

What Chronic Illness Taught Me About Life (and Writing a Book!)

This week on the Now Go! podcast, Jenna Van Mourik shares what her chronic illness taught her about life, faith in God, and writing a book. Often times when we are presented with hardship in our "life story," our natural instinct is to wonder why it is happening. We might question the Author (God) and wonder what purpose such things serve, but the truth is, we can trust in Him to write our stories because He knows what is best. Sometimes, in life and in fiction, all we need is a shift in perspective. Authors and non-authors alike will find something to relate to in today's episode!
