Episode 29: Playoffs?
The Canucks have been on a tear since the last podcast (9-3-0). They have been so good in fact, that the playoff conversation is no longer delusional to discuss. The Nucks have an important 7 game home stand coming up with multiple games against subpar opponents. The boys own their fate as they look to make a miraculous playoff push.
Episode 28: The Covid Canucks + Trade rumours
The Covid struck Canucks took on a grueling string of games that saw AHL goalie Spencer Martin shine and unlikely players who stepped up big; all while keeping the Canucks slim playoff hopes alive. I go over some possible trades that we could see the new Canucks front office make as well as take a look at the upcoming schedule. Big game on Saturday... nothing like beating the Leafs at home... 4:00 PM start... rediculous.
Episode 27: Road trip through hell
The Canucks embarked on a 5 game road trip which saw them play some of the league's best teams. While the trip did not start the way they wanted it to the Canucks strung together a couple of wins to salvage the trip and come home a .500 team. Bo Horvat and Conor Garland have been added to the Covid list which is a massive blow for the team moving forward, who will step up in the absence of these two goal scorers?
Episode 26: Roster Review 2022
The Nucks have not played a game in over a week! Today I look at the current roster with the main focus of analyzing current and upcoming contracts. The Canucks have their fair share of good and bad contracts, Jim Rutherford will have his hands full determining who to extend, trade, or let go.

Episode 21: Edmonton & Winnipeg Series Recap
The Canucks have been eliminated from the playoffs which means that we get to see some prospects like Lind, Rathbone and others get their chance in the lineup. McDavid picked up his 100th point in the 4 games against the Oilers and we got shut out once against the Jets...if that isn’t the story of our season we don’t know what is.
Episode 20: Toronto Series 4 Recap
The Canucks lose both games against the Leaf's while being outscored 9-2. They were simply the better team. Theses losses did not come with a lack of effort as we saw flashes from some players including Kole Lind who impressed in his NHL debut. We take a dive into some young players that could see more ice time and the Elias Pettersson injury and contract situation.
Episode 19: Ottawa Series 3 Recap
The Canucks drop 3 of 4 big ones against the Sens and find themselves in last place in the North. The story of this series was the diminishing energy that plagued the boys throughout. We preview some rookies that could find themselves in the lineup near the end of the season as playoffs are a longshot at this point. It is just an unfortunate situation in a weird Covid filled season.
Episode 18: Toronto Series 3 Recap
The boys come back resilient after fighting off Covid to sweep the 2 game series against the Leaf’s. Holtby’s best games as a Canuck could not have come at a better time. There were a lot of faces coming in and out of the lineup but the effort stayed consistent putting us in a position to take a run at the playoffs with a 4 game set upcoming vs the Sens.
Episode 17: Extensions & Trade Grades
The boys are back after a long break as the Canucks are set to hit the ice Sunday against the Leaf’s. We breakdown the recent moves including contract extensions and trades while giving our take on the current state of the team. This is the final stretch of the year and possibly the final stretch for Benning and Green.

Canucks continue to ride Demko’s hot hand and do whatever it takes to pick up 4 out of 6 points. They may not have been the prettiest wins, but nobody can complain about a win. We preview the upcoming Ottawa series and look forward to another matchup against Montreal. The boys just need to hold on until we can get healthy.
Episode 12: Toronto Series 2 Recap
The Canucks sweep the Maple Leaf's with back to back wins. Strong performances by Thatcher Demko and the powerplay were crucial in both victories. Travis Green settled down and rolled 4 lines which allowed us to play with a lot of energy in both 3rd periods. 4 points without Elias Pettersson! Hopefully we can build off this series as we move on to a tough one against Montreal.

Episode 9: Calgary & Winnipeg Series 2 Mashup
It’s been a while but we’re back with a double header after the Calgary and Winnipeg series. We break down a 6 game stretch in which the Canucks go 2-2-2, a positive Calgary series was followed up by a disappointing Winnipeg series. Coaching is heavily questioned in this episode as we feel like the boys are playing better hockey going into a 2 game set with Edmonton.

It was a dark week for Canucks fans as the team lost all 3 games to the Leaf's. We break down the games and question some major lineup decisions that were made during the series. Expectations for this team are currently up in the air as the quarter point has past and we can only look ahead from here.
