Don't Give Africans Nobel Prizes?
In this episode I debate whether or not we should celebrate if Chimamanda Adichie or Nnedi Okoroafor won a Nobel prize (especially if their body of work or personal brand do not reflect indigenous ideologies).
This is based on a facebook post from a friend which said we should not, because "they do not stand for anything indigenous" therefore the award will be useless to ndi Igbo. And "tomorrow they would use the fame of the award to force negative Western ideologies on our children."

Link Between Colonization And Christian Missions
Colonizers Brought The Bible NOT Progress
Before anyone else misinterprets my intentions. I am not saying the Bible is a lie. As I told someone on Instagram, I am not saying they translated the Bible for the sake of colonization. Multiple groups of Europeans came to Africa to exercise their agendas. Those representing the political rulers overruled all other forms of authority. Missionaries came, but they were not always the same people as the colonial rulers. However, some Africans seem to believe they are all the same people. I am challenging them. I am also acknowledging that there is a reason some forms of knowledge transfer was encouraged while others were not.
