Episode 7

before the new reaches, the old must leave. The process is dirty, full of grief and pain. That is change. When we are too big for our present spaces, and we must grow.

Grieving change is important, grieving for the old and grieving for the sacrifices we make to face and welcome the new.

But greater is coming. We are here because we are right for now. 'Now' needs us to step into ourselves to accommodate the growth and change we crave for.

In the midst of crises around the world, change is in the air. Its costs, but greater is coming

You know those sudden realizations you get at the most perfect moments? That's what this episode is about. 

I found out I was putting a lot of pressure on myself and therefore shoving myself into a box when I was trying to fly free.

Perfectionism comes in different forms, so it often looks different in distinct situations. I didn't know I was blocking myself when desperately trying not to.

What does it really mean to say "life is good"? I always had this expectation that I could only really say that when I  had checked off all of the things on the never-ending list I have in my head, and also the new things I would add to that list later on.

I'm learning that it constricts my flow tho.

This episode is expressing ideas coming from a recovering pessimist.
