It's almost October and we are starting our ghostly stories a little early this year! In this episode, we are telling the bizarre story of Ella Myers. One that does involve a bit of mystery and folklore. I want to personally thank the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum for filling in the many blanks in this story. After I found the original news articles on this story, they were void of much information. The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum were able to fill in those blanks for me. They did a live reading of this story on Facebook, and it was very well done. If you get the chance, check them out at www.pawneebillranch.org/ and their Facebook page at Facebook.com/pawneebillranch (all one word). They have many events coming up, including a Ghost Stories Candlelight tour in October. They also recreate the Original Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show every year.
If you have heard this story before, I will warn you that you have not heard it this way. This is the story of Ella Myers and the Guthrie Ghost with Blood Red Hands.

Hello everyone and welcome back to Okie Investigations. I am very happy to say that after a short few months, we are back on the air and will be better than ever. We now have our own studio and research office. I hope you all have been well over the last few months. I want to thank all of you who have reached out wondering what's been going on. I’m not the best at replying to those sorts of things but I want you all to know that we’re ok, just been going through a lot of changes here, which resulted in the show's upgrade.
Today we are telling the story of the Buried Bodies Case - Part 1 - The Robert Garrow Story. In this episode, we are focusing on the victims in the case.
Just a few formatting changes. We are no longer going to load the show with advertisements. We kept these to as few as we could and Anchor has been great with helping us earn enough to pay the overhead of the costs of running this show and the truecrime.blog website. But, we have some ideas on how to cover those costs down the road, so I thought it would be cool to reward you all with ad-free shows. If you do hear an advertiser or commercial in this broadcast, it didn't come from us, it probably came from the platform that you are listening from or our platform forced them on.
But enough of that. If you want to know more about what's going on with the show you can find us on facebook facebook.com/okieinvestigations and on our website truecrime.blog.
This episode contains sensitive topics such as rape, murder, and abduction which may be a trigger for some listeners. Listener discretion is advised.
