At the young age of 29 she has already been to two Olympic games, World cups, European championships and won medals for her country. But not all has been smooth sailing after describing her struggle with self doubt and feeling like all her success was just a fluke. She even expresses how after winning 2 individual sliver medals and a team Gold at London Olympics she classed it as a failure. After having one of the worst burn outs of my life I was forced to stop and sort some underlying issues out. I had to ask myself hard questions like why do I feel the need to work myself into the ground? I have also realised that I don't want to have a constant positive mindset as this is not healthy and it isn't reality. This podcast is the start of me accepting my vulnerability, accepting I am not in control all the time and thats ok and learning how to step forwards from this situation. Enjoy!
