Twosome: Music and Memories with Mike Davis
Lance and Mike have been friends since the 1900's. With a shared love for music, they dive into some discussion about what they listened to as kids and later on in the late 90s. With his podcasting career is just starting, they also dive in to some memories from school and touch upon some more serious topics. But, before it ends, you'll get to hear some Billy Joel so hang in there!
Delicious
He's an episode, sans Sam, with delectable topics like comic sans, commencement speeches, and mispronouncing words. Also, there may be a few phone numbers called.
American "Cheese"
Another one in the books! Or... on your phone. Let's talk about parking lot rage, indictments, and searching for YouTube in YouTube. In case you have forgotten, we are professionals.
Teen Movie Madness: Just One of the Guys vs. Varsity Blues
In our latest installment of TMM, we have Just One of the Guys from 1985 and Varsity Blues from 1999. And, as Sam once said, they are both movies about scoring. ...Get it? Because one is about sports and the other... Anyway, enjoy the ep!
Twosome: Being Yourself and Directing Others with Grant Braun
This is a conversation Lance had with, friend of the show and personal friend of everyone who works on the show, Grant Braun. They talk about many things including his passion for being a hair stylist, coming out and being able to be himself, and being a director for Shrek The Musical. The very same show that Sam, Lance, and Jamie are involved with and Veronica is co-directing. Enjoy this conversation with many stories and laughs with the one and only Grant Braun!
Pendulum
We know you were worried. We know you felt lonely. So we are back again and here for YOU! Here to catch you up on what we have been up to for the last 20 days. Here to discuss books, drugs, and movies that don't make us laugh. And, last but not least, here for that attention we so desperately require. ...Maybe that's just Lance.
Hot Mic
Something is going on with our equipment but it's not gonna stop us from talking! We will NEVER STOP! But someone might if they have to go to work.
Twosome
After having been abandoned, temporarily, Lance and Veronica were left to fend for themselves. The cognac was chilled and the secrets were NOT spilled as Veronica refused to answer the question everyone everyone was asking... Where was she last weekend?
LSD: Is It For You?
In today's episode... Social credit scores, starting conversations with strangers, and the upside of taking LSD. That's right, this one has a lot. The one thing it's missing is a cider drink for Jamie.
Teen Movie Madness: Weird Science vs. Detention
The Science Showdown!! 1985's Weird Science and 2011's Detention. Two more teen movies that have absolutely nothing in them worth complaining about, right? Well... I guess we'll see.
Daddy
In times like these, we know that you need a podcast that's honest with you and keeps it real when discussing the topics that are important to you. Topics like women calling men daddy, the Star Wars special editions, and Rihanna. You are very welcome.
Teen Movie Madness: The Dream Warriors vs. Scream
It's the CRAVEN-OFF! Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors against Scream. Two movies enter the VCR but only one will leave... BECAUSE YOU JUST JAMMED THE VCR!! Ugh, don't you know how expensive these things are?
Going Deep: A Conversation Inspired By Sam's Book and Definitely Not Innies vs. Outies
In todays episode, we have a surprisingly deep conversation for the new year. Aliens, different demotions and Bigfoot are on the list of items we discuss. However, this is after we discover some of Jamie's least favorite terms and we also find out that Santa forgot a few items the last time we were together.

Teen Movie Madness: Sixteen Candles vs. The Breakfast Club
This week it's a Hughes-Off! Two 80s classics but only one can be the winner! With nothing controversial about either one, one would think it should be quite easy to determine which is the better movie. So run to your locker for that bag of weed and hand off your girlfriend to some nerd you don't really know because this episode is starting now!
M.A.S.H.
The game you played in junior high has made its way back, thanks to Jamie. Also, we talk about our weekends (if we remember them), a forced Christmas movie update, and a little movie talk as a bonus.
Teen Movie Madness: Teen Wolf vs. The Lost Boys
In our first showdown, we have the werewolves and vampires going head to head. Will it be a wolfed out Marty McFly or a blood thirsty Jack Bauer? We're here to help facilitate an answer to this question! Gosh, Boof, just hit play!

Teen Movie Madness: The Draft
It's time to determine what might be the greatest teen movie of all time! With Sam, Jamie, Lance, and Veronica all bringing 4 titles to the table for the draft and including 4 additional picks from the best audience in the world, it's time to start the journey!
*Note that this was pulled from the previous full episode and turned into it's own thing because these people talk too much and it is entirely possible that listening to this whole thing is not worth your time. Ok. You can start now.
It's a CD player
If loaded nachos were a podcast, this would be that. Did that make sense? Fashion, Sandler movies, Weird Al, and vacations! There's a lot more too. Extras. And, much like the black olives people put on their nachos, those extras are dirty.
SURPRISE!
It's been so long! Where do we even start?? The truth is that we already started and it's all recorded! All you have to do is push play...
Backyard Intox
In today's episode we discuss our Ted Talks, the Marilyn Monroe doc, and Taylor Swift's NYU doctorate in 22. Also, we are outside! After all, with a day as nice as this, why stay inside? Secondly, with drinks at 14%, why stay sober?
Treading Trodden Trails For A Long Long Time
Spicy chocolate, BBC News cameras, old TV sitcoms, and mood altering entertainment. These are a few of OUR favorite things this week.
Episode 150! 15% More Professional!
It's time to celebrate!! So let's talk about... abortion. I mean, come on, why wouldn't we? But we also talk about if we were created by aliens, if listening to music on your phone is considered screen time, and, of course, Star Wars. ...Episode recorded on May 4th.
Post Nups
Beaches, shake snubs, pedestrian rage... All that and a bag of twitter tweets comin' your way in this episode!
The Perfect Plan

Everyone has returned! Although our flight home tried to rid us of or lives, we prevailed. And, yes, we may be exhausted... but we are here for YOU! Enjoy the details of our trip to Sin City and find out if anyone did, in fact, take their shirt off for Veronica.
Gone
Sometimes we do things. We'll be back next week!
It's an Old Code but It Checks Out
This week on The Opposite of Important...
Veronica attempts to score with a Backstreet Boy, there is some music trivia, and an extended discussion about The Oscars. Do they discuss the slap? Do they discuss diversity? There is only one way to find out... Tune in literally anytime you want by hitting play.
Half of an Episode and Some Garbage
Well... we tried. Unfortunately, our audio equipment went down about halfway into this episode. However, rather than just calling it, we decided to give you a sneak peak at what we have been up to over at Album Maunder. If you like what you hear, head on over and check out all our past episodes too!
Ghostisode
You may be wondering what took so long to get this episode out. There are reasons that will be discussed next week. Anyway, this was recorded on March 15th and is packed full of quality entertainment. Do you like vague descriptions? ...Yeah you do.
Getting To Know You
Thanks to Veronica, you all will now know how all of us met! Thanks to Lance, you'll realize that potatoes are terrible. Both conversations are equally informative.
Van Rothko
Truck rental woes, art fraud, music stoppers, trans rights in sports, and the case of Jamie's missing segment... All that and more in this episode!
What A Great Word
Snackin' on Cheerios
After discussing some synonyms for a part of the female anatomy, we are off to the races with some David Letterman discussion, Super Bowl speculation, and since cereal conversation. See what I did there?
The Venkman of the Turtles
Great ep incoming!
After a brief callback to last week's Joe Rogan conversation, we talk about Sam's rediscovered love for CDs, Ghostbusters Afterlife, and at least 7 other topics. We have to pay by the letter in these descriptions so...
The Ultimate Audio Rollercoaster
You know... I was going to try and type everything that happens in this episode but I'm not sure I have the time. You should just listen.

Depends On How Far South You Go
With cheese and beer at the ready, LJ&S dive into what will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the most episodic episodes in Opposite history. You'll hear about Jamie's furniture woes, find out Sam's favorite Weird Al song might be All About The Pentiums, and find out Lance is apparently still upset about the aftermath of the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Followed by 2 more terrible Disney sequels and some talk about tattoos.
Slankin' It
Lance laughs too much, Jamie prefers cold over hot, and Sam likes carrots in his chili. That's just the beginning, people!! Then it gets real good. Lance tells us about a time he made a barista uncomfortable, Sam tells us about some new music, and Jamie guides us through a discussion about two more Disney sequels in the bracket.
Speed of a Puma
In this episode we tackle all the topics burning in your mind like... What happened to the WWF? Can a person live with the heart of a pig? Who is the latest celebrity to get a statue erected of themselves? We also talk about the loss of Bob Saget and, making sure we stay the course with our Worst Disney Sequels bracket, we vote on wether Tarzan 2 or The Brave Little Toaster 2 is worse. A surprisingly difficult decision.
How Did You Know You Were God?
What happens here?... Jamie brings in some beer that was meant to be sipped and paired with coconut shrimp, Sam and Lance might be the first people to mention Gary Newman in the last 15 years, Paul FaceTimes in to chat about our fantasy football rankings, and then Sam and Lance discuss their commercial stardom with Jamie. Also, at about the 1:32 mark, it gets a little deep. But then, be cause of poor planning, we follow it up with discussing the latest Disney sequels in our bracket. It is at this point we find out that the beer has landed, we are much louder, and now we can just pretend it all flowed well.
Pay It Forward
Did you see the posts about paying it forward at Starbucks? Lance did. Also, we talk about our Christmas presents, dive in to the first two Disney sequels in Jamie's worst sequels bracket, and we discuss what would make the best new you in the new year. What is yours? Is it books? We are willing to bet it's books.
Christmas Colonoscopy
Merry Christmas, everyone! Although there is some medical talk along the way, we're here to talk about Christmas and a few of our favorite songs from the season!
Lights Out
Although the storm tried stopping stop us, we still got together to record another gem for you to enjoy. From brown M&Ms to The Grinch, we have your useless conversation topics covered!
A Music Episode of Sorts
Starting with Spotify Wrapped, these three nerds start down a music rabbit hole that, while occasionally turning down a dark path, takes them on a trip down memory lane and puts their music knowledge to the test.
Who Would You Be?
Michael/Alex Vaughn joins us for a chat about taking over a known persons life, Omicron, and Godzilla vs. Kong.
