The Thoughtful Man Indeed
Il Penseroso, a poem by John MIlton was beckoning for it's own episode. I wasn't planning on this, and need to announce albeit a bit too late that this was a tough narration. This poem has a deeper meaning, but that is only for you to find.
Hermes And His Prophecy Concerning Egypt
In Asclepius III [Hermetic text], the Thrice Great decided to inform his student Asclepius that Egypt will fall. This fragment is fascinating because it mentions the gods leaving earth, evil angels wreaking havoc on humanity, and destruction by various methods including water-floods, all events normally associated with pre-deluge mythology.
The version of this fragment is from a Asclepius III, originally in written in Latin. The translation used for this reading is from Walter Scott's "Hermetica: Volume 1".
