Most of those we speak with have either offered their skills on the frontline of international development, or supported those who do. However what you’ll notice is this sojourn is as much about the new life discovered as the new life offered.

Palms Educators Helping To Alleviate Poverty
Anne, Heather & Liz began English teaching placements in Timor Leste between 2011 and 2017, with Heather spending an additional 2 years in Kenya during this time. Our returned educators share about motivations, ways barriers were broken down, what was able to be achieved as a result of being there long-term, the positive impact of English in fueling students' dreams and realising employment opportunities.
