The students from the University of Nevada Las Vegas who make up the Mason Undergraduate Peer Research Coaches are creating this series. We are all interested in creating a better environment for first generation students who are interested in pursuing higher education. Last year the senior peer coaches did research on the deficit mindset directed towards First Gen. They share key takeaways from their research. We hope to inspire all students to reach their full potential through the path that best fits them.
