Phreestyle Episode 25: Failing Forward W/ Tawnya Nguyen
Welcome back to the Phreestyle podcast everyone! MY guest today is someone who has personally helped me more than I can ever thank her for, and that is *insert drum roll here* Tawnya Nguyen. Tawnya is part of an organization called movement society, they conduct physical training and coaching for anyone who has some fitness goals they want to achieve. From my amazing experience with Movement society, they showed how big they are into two things: Understanding how every aspect of ones life can affect their fitness and health. Including sleep, diet, stress, and everything else. And also, moving forward the idea that dancers are the same as any other top tier athlete and they should be treated as such. By others and themselves. This chat was awesome as we got into why dancers should be treated as athletes, cultural issues in gyms and the fitness world in general, and some of Tawnya's background and how she got to where she is. Fantastic person and a fantastic organization SO be sure to check them out MOVEMENT SOCIETY: https://movementsocietyco.com/ @movementsociety on instagram TAWNYA: @coachtawns on instagram Share and like the podcast and talk to me on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or Facebook all at: @philliamwillas Take care! :)
