Welcome back to Piety & Paideia!
We are excited to introduce you to a new mini-series on the podcast where we will be reading and discussing C.S. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet. Read the book on your own, and then join us each week to hear reflections from the book. We invite your own observations along the way! Email the host at jon.jordan@coramdeoacademy.org with your insights.
This episode introduces the book and explains how we will "read the book together, even while we are apart." Be sure to read Out of the Silent Planet Chapters 1-6 before tuning in to next week's episode!

I am your host, Jon Jordan, and I am the Logic School Principal at Coram Deo Academy’s Dallas campus and a pastor here in town as well.
About once a month we will release short episodes about one aspect of Classical Education, and how it relates to Christian formation. Each episode will include tangible ideas for applying that episode’s topic to your own context, whether you are formally involved in Classical Education or not.

In light of this reality, what role does Social Media play in our development as virtuous humans? What impact, positive or negative, does daily interaction with the digital world have on our souls? What can we do as parents, and as a school, in light of these questions?
