Akeen is an Account Coordinator at WarnerMedia, a multimedia conglomerate consisting of the Turner Networks, HBO and Warner Bros entertainment. He graduated Rutgers University as part of the class of 2018, studying Business and Communications. While there he was involved in student government, serving as Senator for the Rutgers Business School and Student Representative to the Rutgers Board of Trustees. Our Guest today is the wonderful and brilliant Julien Rosenbloom. Julien is a Senior Partner at JUV Consulting and a junior at Rutgers University studying political science and economics, where he is a Lloyd C. Gardner Fellow in Leadership and Social Policy and a Ralph W. Voorhees Fellow in Public Service.  He was born in Venice, Italy and currently resides in central New Jersey.  As a Senior Partner at JUV, Julien has led projects in data analytics, healthcare, public health, telecommunications, and entertainment.  At Rutgers, Julien has been heavily involved with the Eagleton Institute of Politics, student government, the Center for Youth Political Participation, the Institute for Domestic and International Affairs, and the Office of Federal Relations.

 On this episode of Playlist Profiles, I interview Tyrus Jackson! Tyrus was born and raised in Washington DC where he found an interest in politics. He went to high school at Bishop McNamara where he put his interest into practice by running for and being apart of student council for all 4 years. He additionally found a love of technical theater. These interests followed him to Rutgers as he was elected to the Rutgers student government and was the University Affairs Chair and got a student job working as technical crew for the student centers. He kept himself busy in college as in addition to those 2 roles he was also in Alpha Phi Omega which is a national service fraternity. After graduating from Rutgers with a degree in health administration with a minor in political science, he came back to DC and is now pursuing a masters degree in health policy and a law degree at George Washington University. His end goal is to create laws that will benefit the health of society.

Claudia Marconi was born Miami, FL and grew up in Caracas, Venezuela. Living in Venezuela made her want to study politics to help developing countries find democracy. After graduating from Rutgers University she got a fellowship with Running Start, a non-partisan organization that empowers young women to run for office. As Congressional Fellow she interned for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Now, Claudia works on the Hill continuing her career in politics, and learning as much as she can to use it for when she becomes a Member of Congress.
