Episode 009: Alive and Kicking - The world’s only not-for-profit ball manufacturer

Episode 009: Alive and Kicking - The world’s only not-for-profit ball manufacturer

In episode 009 we’re joined by Eddie Taylor from Alive and Kicking, the world’s only not-for-profit ball manufacturer. He tells us about the work they do to create sustainable jobs, educate young people on health issues, and about his footballing adventures in Africa. Alive & Kicking are the world’s only not-for-profit ball manufacturer who we partnered with to design our very own limited edition football to coincide with the release of the sixth edition of our magazine. The ball was hand screen printed and hand stitched in Kenya. Profits from balls sales and additional fundraising give young people access to sport and health education through A+K ball donations and the delivery of effective sport based health programmes. Centres across sub-Saharan Africa create hundreds of ethical jobs for adults facing disadvantage. Check out their website www.aliveandkicking.org  Intro Music by White Collar Boy.
