Episode 1: Fame and Dinner Guests!
Hey there! Welcome to Popping the Questions! Each week hosts Taylor and Josiah each take a question from the 36 questions that lead to love and intimacy (it's a real psychology study! Look it up!). Taylor and Josiah then have a discussion about their respective question with someone in their life. It could be a friend, a family member, someone they know well, someone they don't know well! They then use those conversations as inspiration to write original songs. And then they share what they talked about and the songs they wrote on the podcast! That's right! You get 18 weeks worth of conversations about love and relationships and songwriting AND two new original songs each week. What a deal!
In this first episode, the questions are:
1. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest? (Taylor's question)
2. Would you like to be famous? In what way? (Josiah's question)
Thanks to Kara Dentzau and J.T. Sherrer for inspiring our song inspiration this week, and a special thanks to Jonathan Groff and the folks at Two-Up for inspiring Taylor to think up this podcast idea!
Song timestamps are at 6:00 and 14:51.
