S1E5: Intimacy in the Dramatic Arts with Siobhan Richardson (Part 2)
This episode is the second half of Anne's chat with Siobhan Richardson, an actor, fighter, and intimacy director/coach from Toronto, ON. In this episode we talk about what professionalism means in the dramatic arts, and how to cultivate joyful workspaces. We also talk about boundaries, and how to handle it when someone crosses someone's boundary in scene work. Siobhan walks through a framework for addressing and handling accidental boundary crossing in scene work.

In this episode Anne chats with Siobhan Richardson, an actor, fight director, and intimacy director in Toronto Ontario. This episode covers the basics of intimacy directing, and the difference between the language of intimacy directing and coaching. We talk about what "comfortable" means in the dramatic arts, exploring discomfort and vulnerability as an actor, and the importance of bringing in an intimacy director. We also talk about the "brave yes", exploring boundaries, and consent in scene work.
