African-American families not only suffer from police brutality, or a system that was never there for them, but because of different traumas of the race entirely they have a hard time adjusting or discussing mental health and continue to be ignorant to it. Joining me in this episode is Dr. Victoria Thomas who is a professor at East Stroudsburg University and teaches Social Justice Communication. We discuss politics, capitol riot, inaugurations, mental health, MLK day, the tv show Euphoria, traveling, the justice system, and the health system.
