We will explore what happened during the 1980's Crack Era, the impact of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act that mandated minimum sentences, the impact of the mass incarceration of predominantly Black Men on the Black Family, and much more. Then we will discuss what we see today in our communities and what solutions do we need to implement to really address OUR needs. This is a story we don't hear enough about, especially when we look at current political figures that were instrumental in mass incarceration yet we were being asked to vote for these individuals today.

Black women are often pushed to use toxic contraceptives in spite of harmful long term side effects. For example, Depo-Provera has been linked to breast cancer, bone density loss as well as the loss of its FDA backing yet it is still being offered by Planned Parenthood and other agencies. We will delve into what other factors may be causing infertility and what we can do. This is a VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE!
