Project Herrick

By Dan

This podcast consists of interviews with former soldiers about their experience of the war in Afghanistan and life after. This is a "ground up" project, the "grunts-eye view" covering everything from counterinsurgency, courageous restraint, the current political situation in Afghanistan as well as mental health. Oh and "stag" (guard duty) lots and lots of stag.

This is not endorsed by the MoD and the views expressed are the individuals own and do not represent any organisation.

This is an ongoing project and anyone wishing to contribute can contact me at @DanielMeally on Twitter

Welcome to Project Herrick

Just a short into in to what the aims of Project Herrick are with interviews with some of the former riflemen who fought it. This an ongoing project in which we hope to conduct more interviews with those who were on the coalface of one of the longest and bloodiest conflicts in military history.
