In the closet, in the military: PJ and Miyo
Meet PJ and Miyo. Coming from similar upbringings and cultural backgrounds, both have experience in the United States Armed Forces. Miyo joined the Navy at the age of 26 in 2007. PJ joined the army 12 years later in 2019 at the age of 27. With time in the military more than a decade apart, in this episode Miyo and PJ compare and contrast their experiences.

Both are parents with unique stories to share. Dr. Ringenbach, an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, opens up about her relationship with her daughters, one of whom has recently come out as asexual. Mr. Powell, with children from a previous marriage, discusses how his family unit and relations evolved after he came out.
