This is a podcast for Young Professionals who are determined to actively pursue and engage in professions, disciplines or arts that serve their purpose on this Earth. The vision is that with each episode, the listener is fed with knowledge, thoroughly developed, inspired to take action and to achieve the dreams and ideas God has put in their heart.
It's time for you to be 10X better than your industry standard!
This week's podcast episode teaches you how to be exactly that!
Nomzamo Mbatha often says: There is no glory in playing small! And there really isn't.
In fact, one outstanding writer, Ellen G. White, once penned:
"The Lord is disappointed when His people place a low estimate upon themselves...
... He has a use for them, and He is well pleased when they make the very highest demands upon Him, that they may glorify His name.
They may expect large things if they have faith in His promises."
Many people ask me where to begin and what they should do first, and this episode answers just that.

The start of a new week affords us the luxury of starting over. It's a blank canvas that we get to colour in however we see best. There are conditions to putting together a solid plan for your vision, and that's what we go over in this episode. Enjoy.
You'll hear me sing! Don't be startled. When I'm done, we'll talk.
Today's message will prod you to do something totally counter-intuitive; yet the results of it will be amazing.
I'm talking against the "hustle" and "I'll rest when I'm dead" mentality. We weren't design to go hard and never take a moment to rest.
I hope you'll be resting as you listen to this :)
We'll chat again soon.
That's what you will feel as you listen to this episode. I'm sharing my business secrets!
If you are in Business, full-time Ministry, running an NPO, are a Creative, or are fulfilling your purpose in Corporate, you need to hear this - and apply it to your practice too.
This one will make you really introspect on the people you've allowed to take residence in your inner circle. Should they be there? Are they adding the right kind of value? Oh, oh, oh, wait... Are you the kind of friend anyone should have? Hmmm. Listen to the game-plan and start making up your mind about where you want to be and whether who you have (and are) will get you there. Enjoy.
Today's Game-plan is critical. We are praying about one of the most important decisions you will ever make in your life, after choosing Christ as your personal savior - it is choosing someone to spend you entire life with.
Prayer for our partners is extremely important. We have to do it if we want to have good living.
So in this episode, find some prayer points from me, and let me know what else you believe I left out (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Given that family was designed, by God, to be the center of love and morality, it goes without saying that it should be part of our prayer strategy.
If we want to play a part in helping society at large, we have to play a part in holding up our family units.
Hope you enjoy this game-plan.
Monday blues are for people who do things against their will. That shouldn't be you.
If it is, the prayer strategy in this episode will help you with perspective and purpose.
Let me know your thoughts email@example.com
A number of people ask me how I maintain a strong relationship with God and what they can do to start one.
So to heed that request, I've put together, in sound-clips, the game-plan I use everyday to bring certain areas of my life in focus, and co-develop strategies with God on those very areas. While I let Him perform His Godly, Fatherly duties, I allow Him to equip me for the parts of the prayer that I am responsible for, to fulfill my requests.
I hope you enjoy the journey with me, and don't be shy to reach out to me with your thoughts and contributions. I'm available on emial - firstname.lastname@example.org
I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Tebello Motshwane of Sister in Law, who has a podcast called Sisters in Conversation. She was inspired by Michelle Obama's documentary and thought it would be a good idea for us local women to share our stories of how we became who we are today. Here my story as I share it with her and I hope it gives you the courage to some day share yours.
In this episode, Mpumi shares how discovering her purpose led her to learning about the 5 core strengths that help her in pursuing multiple streams that all serve her purpose on this Earth. It is Money March on the podcast this month. The idea is for us all as Purpose Practitioners to be wealth professionals who make a holistic impact in society - through our purpose and our pockets 😉. The #1 lesson I want you to gain from this episode is: We don't work for money; money works for us. We make money and then we make that money work for us. Enjoy 🙂
This week I chat to Asanda Madi, a clinical psychologist (odysseyunfolded.wordpress.com) and we chat all things mental health. She broke down the causes of mental health, how we can identify signs of and support those around us who are dealing with mental illness and finally we agree that "The opposite of depression is not happiness; it's purpose." Have you heard the statement: When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable? I'd like to extend that and say: A slight deviation from the design leads to unwanted, unwelcome and devastating results. I truly believe that the social ills we are facing in our society today is as a result of not sticking to God's guide for how to live. Hear how we can do better in this episode.
Tell me if you've noticed this too... For some reason it seems *People are frustrated with God *The youth is bored with religious church practices *A great deal of people are tired of hearing and doing the same things year in, year out *Millennials are sick of seeing hypocrites who are quick to judge others' shortcomings... There is a repulsion to religion, and I get why! All along, the focus has been on RELIGION, and not much emphasis has been placed on RELATIONSHIP. This week's episode is a pour out of my heart; I'm making a claim that not even God is interested in RELIGION. All He cares about is RELATIONSHIP, and I use the 10 COMMANDMENTS (yes, you read that right) to prove to you that what we thought is religion all this time, is actually not! Have a listen. In this episode, Mpumi talks about how God disrupted her plan to teach her how to trust Him. Trust Him to do things her own plan can never cover. You will learn what it takes to get real success, without grinding yourself to dust. Enjoy
Let me tell you something you should never forget: Corporate ain't your cousin! If you don't wise up and play the game, you'll be left at the bottom of the food chain, with nothing to show for the years you would have spent, furthering someone else's vision. I don't want that for you. Corporate is one way to fulfil our purpose here on this Earth, and so in this episode I share some tips on how you can navigate it well and be a high performer. Some of us though, are totally misplaced, and our actual work is waiting for us to align to it. If you are ready to live the life you were actually created to live, and work a job that will fulfill you, no doubt, sign up for Purpose Unlocked here: https://mpumikmbonane.com/product/purpose-unlocked/.
