Various depictions of what female friendship should look like, has been marketed to us through books, magazines, music, movies, series, and even in ads for toys and apparel! What does it really look like though? What do real-life female friendships look like? The answer is ultimately for you and your friends to decide!

Fallen Icons, and the Hero Culture of Modern America
In this episode, we discuss some of the most well-known celebrities, who in recent history, have had allegations of abusive behavior, giving them a tarnished, and notorious reputation. Dan Schneider, Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson, along with Ed Razek & Les Wexner, will be the topics of conversation today. It's time we discuss this culture of perceived heroes, in a time of idols and icons who are one wrong move away from their own destruction.

Pop Culture Moments: Stephen King's IT (1991)
Today I talk a little bit about the original Stephen King's IT, from 1991, and the impact it had on me in my youth. Discussing the actors and other elements that made this movie the iconic classic it is today, I also talk about my favorite scenes, and that ultimately at the heart of this film, was a message about friendship. If this movie showed us nothing else, it taught us that if we want to survive to adulthood and beyond, that we need human connection, and that friends are a vital part of that.
