The Ox and The Rat - E37 - The Dog and His Master's Dinner
In this week's episode, we discuss the moral, "Do not stop to argue with temptation." This one was a bit harder to figure out but I think we go there, maybe. We discuss possible arguments (I think) but I know for sure we talk about our trip to the Philippines and Kai the once-famous Youtube star. This will be the last episode for a little while, while we contemplate doing more. In this week's episode, we discuss the moral "In a pinch a good use of our wits may help us out." The Ox and the Rat get into such topics as whether governments are able to use ingenuity to solve problems and the potential issues that may arise when a solution is put forward.

In this episode we discuss the moral, "It is easy to be brave when there is no danger." This led the Ox and the Rat into a discussion about Covid-19 and people's ability to withstand the pandemic by working at home and those that are not, among other related topics.

In this week's episode, we discuss the moral "Deeds count, not boasting words." aka actions speak louder than words. The Ox and The Rat discuss how cancer made the Ox more focused on what is important in life and how the Rat has trouble with saying he will do something but fails to turn it into any meaningful action.

In this week's episode, we discuss the moral "A resemblance to the great in some things does not make us great." We get into a bit about the Rat's exciting weekend and intersperse some beer talk throughout this episode. Also, we discuss reflecting on one's abilities, getting rid of old stuff, and beer again.

In this week's episode, we will be discussing the moral, "It is very foolish to be greedy." This week is a little short, as the Ox is busy with work. In this episode we will be discussing the moral, "We cannot expect anyone to share our misfortunes unless we are willing to share our good fortune also." We talk about the qualities of an Ox, and then we attempt to get into some fortuitous luck we have had over the years which includes the Ox's lost cellphone and giving back unearned money.
