Moving on is never easy, no matter what the situation is. Getting to the point & making that decision is big. When you do, you will be proud of yourself. It is an important part of life & timing is everything. If you stay too long, you may never leave. Leave too soon, you might miss out on a key part of growth. At the end of the day, getting to where you need to be is most important. 

Being petty is an art sometimes. We come up with ways to get back at someone. The gesture could be big or small. Whatever you did, I hope it was worth it. There are people who have taken the fun out of being petty. Unfortunately, people use there children, family, and friends to get back at one another. This is when being petty is just not ok. But we will get into it...

Fish bowl topic! At the end of each month, we pull a topic from the fish bowl and do story time. This week's topic: Name a time when you should've snitched on someone, but you didn't.

There are two different types of people in this world; one who can hear others opinions and embrace it or one who can never see the other side of things and is married to their own opinion. We have all been guilty of being both, but at some point we need to realize how much energy we would save if we just agreed to disagree. It would be such a simple life. 

We are starting to see a trend of what is expected from the non-custodial parent. Some women expect cars, houses, bills to be paid, and not have to work a day in their life because they have a child. Some expect that it is the responsibility of the other parent to care for the household even when they don't live there. Doing what is best for the child is quickly forgotten when money is involved. 

In every relationship, we always promote balance. One thing you can't help is having balance in the bank accounts. It's inevitable. Even though being a stay-at-home anything is a full time job, it doesn't bring in any money. This is where things get a little tricky. Let's talk about it!

In the time of technology, we are all so accessible to anyone and anything. We try, but sometimes fail to protect the children in this heavy social media age. Children are coming up missing left and right with no real explanation. Even the media chooses to ignore this issue. As parents, we must do our part. To some, it's all innocent but is it? 

At what point in the relationship do you allow family members to give their opinions? When do you consider their feelings? Sometimes they only see the half of it. They judge off of the few minutes/hours spent with your significant other. So, are their judgments valid?

Entitlement has become another thing of 2020 that just won't go away. When those who feel entitled lash out and throw tantrums, others record and sometime instigate for laughs. There is a name for those people: Karen. Now this is nothing new, but it seems to be happening more often than usual. It is the most overused word in 2020 and we just discovered it last month. During our break some crazy things happened but this one stood out to us the most: The infamous August & Jada entanglement. Now some people are quick to judge, but we think the situation really needs to be broken down for some to understand. There are people taking sides without looking at the whole picture. At the end of the day, we've all been in an entanglement or two...

In the beginning, having access to the news as quickly as we do was a blessing. Now, it is a curse. The media has a way of causing mass hysteria. You'd think after everything that we have lived through, some would learn that we can'y believe everything we read. We should only be looking at the cold hard facts. Recently, the Corona Virus has some stuck on stupid and we are tired of it! We had to set y'all straight, so enjoy!

We've all had good and bad experiences when it comes to the hanky panky. The good times are memorable, but the bad times are embedded in our brains. The question is..do you tell the other person about the horrible experience?
