Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) can have a significant impact on the marriage of caregivers of children who are adopted. The stress and challenges of caring for a child with RAD can take a toll on the marriage of caregivers. This can further strain the relationship and lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness.

It is important for caregivers to seek support and resources to help manage the challenges of caring for a child with RAD. This may include therapy or counseling for the child, as well as support groups and respite care for caregivers. It is also important for partners to prioritize their relationship and to make time for each other, even in the midst of the demands of caregiving. Seeking out couples therapy or other forms of support can also be helpful in managing the impact of RAD on the marriage.
