Episode 2: Taboo Series - Let's Talk About Homosexuality
Before recording this episode, we sat down with a knowledgeable individual to ask them about the questions you all submitted to us. In this episode, we talked about many aspects that deal with homosexuality in Islam. This episode was a very uncomfortable one to record, but that is why we created the taboo series. We answered questions regarding whether or not homosexuality is allowed in Islam, what our stance on homosexuality should be as Muslims, what to do if someone you know comes out to you, what it means if you are a homosexual Muslim, and so much more. We hope you all benefit from this episode and we would love to hear any feedback or thoughts you all have - whether or not you agree with us! We shared our unfiltered thoughts and opinions with you, but at the end of the day, Allah knows best.

In this episode, we talked to Dr. Nahla (@imdoctornahla) who is an aspiring psychiatrist, mental health advocate, and an overall amazing person who is really making an impact in our community by shedding light on stigmas surrounding mental health & various taboo topics. Through her social media platforms, Dr. Nahla encourages others to seek the care that they need in order to improve their overall wellness.
We spoke about an array of topics in this episode- from red flags to look out for in relationships (whether romantic ones or not), to toxic friendships, to the importance of boundary setting, and finally, the journey to true self-love without all the social media cliches.
