Sheriff Brian Pixley discusses the proposed Enhanced Law Enforcement Operating levy which if approved by voters would provide 7 full time deputies and 24/7 coverage for Columbia County. The proposed rate is .29 per $1000 of assessed value, which would raise an estimated $7.9 million over a 4 year period.
