A Twin Bolt of Topics! First I discuss the trouble I've encountered trying to collect only red cards in Arena, followed by my search for the best red cards that cost only one cent. It's short, it's cheap, it's ugly, it's Red Decks Win!

Crimson Vow is here and it brings the ping! In this episode I talk about 5 of my favorite red cards from the new set, and the theme that brings them all together. 

Spontaneity. Impulse. Passion. These are Red's strengths and weaknesses, and their my strengths and weaknesses too. In this shorter episode I wanted to talk not about a specific card or deck, but rather why I enjoy Magic's best color so much.

What's got haste, trample, and red all over? It's Ball Lightning and other assorted elementals! In this episode I take a look at some creatures that, like junk food, give you a burst of energy that quickly fades away. 

There is a new king of red creatures, and he is a monkey pirate. I don't like him though, because it costs too much money to get a playset. In this episode, I talk about the price and pushed nature of Ragavan. Somewhere in this description I wanted to put a monkey's paw joke, but I haven't thought of one and I'm going to move on.

What qualifies as a Mono Red Nobasic for our purposes? Lands that specifically produce red mana and no other color, or that specifically use red mana and no other color (so no multi-color producing lands or multi-color abilities, and no only colorless mana lands).

Mono Red mana bases are usually some of the simplest in Magic, but what if you wanted to spice things up? In the first part of this two part series, I go through the Mono Red Nonbasics and give my views on each one.

Although a new Innistrad set is upon us, in this episode I wanted to talk about a card from Avacyn Restored: Vexing Devil. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it both? I use many an untrustworthy source to find out. 

I focus on Arena in this week's show. First I talk about an embarrassing mistake I made during a Kaladesh remastered game, plus my current build for Standard 2022: Goblins!
