Cat is a social science leader in tech with expertise in innovation, engineering transformation, empirical intervention, and evidence science. She has published peer-reviewed research in top academic venues such as ACM and Developmental Science. Her research has played a vital role in multi-organizational partnerships between world-class organizations like Google, Duke University, Vanguard, UC San Diego CSE, Stanford University, Coursera, and others.


She holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Experimental Psychology from UC San Diego and was an inaugural Fellow in the UC San Diego Design Lab. Cat serves her local community on the Advisory Council of the University of San Diego Center for Digital Civil Society, as a research affiliate in STEM education research at UC San Diego, and as an advocate for increasing education access.
