Deanna Cook met a devil in disguise. He once vowed to love and protect her. He could not handle rejection. She called 911 several times for help. She even called as she was being attacked. She was overheard pleading for her life. The 911 operator listened for over 11 minutes. Deanna Cook’s story prompted Dallas, Texas to revamp its 911 system.

The military closed her case and ruled it as a suicide. 15 years later her family still fights for justice and her accused killer lives in Huntsville, AL.
