The 437 Project is a statewide run that is changing lives by raising funds for the Helpline Center's 988 Suicide Prevention and Crisis Line and raising awareness of mental health in even the smallest of communities in the state. Spanning from the Wyoming border to the Iowa border, this run is 437 miles long and is split up between 12 runners who are passionate about community building and mental health. In the kickoff to season 2 of Great Minds with Lost&Found, Erik Muckey, CEO and Executive Director of Lost&Found is on the show to discuss the work L&F does to prevent suicide among youth and young adults (10-34) using the seven strategies outlined by the CDC (Preventing Suicide: A Technical Package of Policy, Programs, and Practices).

With a lack of access to resources and support structures for Native and Indigenous people, Michaela and the SDUIH are striving to provide care to everyone they can. In episode 3, Joel sits down with Bridget Swier to talk about her work with the Front Porch Coalition. As a self proclaimed expert in shame and stigma, Bridget knows what self-hatred feels and looks like. She explains how she overcomes these feelings after years of abuse, substance use, foster care, inpatient care, and trauma. Carrying the burden of shame and stigma can do damage on the body, and Bridget is alive today, to help others so they don't have to experience that weight.
