Executive Director, Scott Pritchard, walks us through the plans for the 2021 MacKenzie Tour that were announced this week. How it came together, his part in the new Forme Tour, who's eligible to play in the 8-event schedule and why they are so excited to be playing at all. We also discuss the current state of Canadians in the pro game (spoiler alert, it's great) and chat hockey playoffs. Canadian, Stephen Ames, wins the Principal Charity Classic and fellow Canadian, Mike Weir, finishes in second. Brooke gets another top 10 with her 7th place finish at the US Open. That is followed by a great conversation with Albert Pistorius, we talk about how he prepares for events, how he adapted his approach to Monday Qualifiers before successfully getting into the Visit Knoxville Open on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Great conversation with Wil Bateman this week, he shares a story about a recent run-in with Paul Casey, the work he's been doing on his mental game to stay patient, his new physical routine and we chat about a trip we went on together to Scotland as Juniors. I did not enjoy talking this much! Will be doing a lot of outreach on Holiday Monday to try to schedule a bunch of interviews so I never have to do that again. I talk Phil Mickelson winning the PGA Championship at 50 years old, and the crowd in South Carolina that almost killed him. I also discuss Golf Canada's latest announcement about the future of the "Canadian" Open. If you listen to the whole episode, you'll learn why google is not enough on it's own to learn anything about Canadian golfers! Back next week with guests. Thumbs up!

Great chat with Riley Wheeldon this week. The Comox, BC, native discusses everything from his junior days, his time at the University of Louisville, to his close encounter with Tiger Woods at the Farmers Insurance Open. After a recent win on the Outlaw Tour, Riley is playing in a US Open Qualifier this week and then will prepare for his season on the newly minted Forme Tour. I also discuss the NCAA controversial decision to cancel the Regional Championship in Baton Rouge, and Riggs from Barstool Sports stepping up to offer an alternative.

Another win for a Canadian in the golf world as Riley Wheeldon picks up a win on the Outlaw Tour. A couple Canadians advance in the US open qualifying process, and plenty more in the Canadian Golf Report on this Mother's Day episode. My guest is Selena Costabile of Thornhill, Ontario. She is currently on the Symetra Tour, having earned status in 2019 and then spending last year playing on the Toronto Players Tour due to Covid. She is one of many Canadians looking to finish in the top 10 on the money list to earn her LPGA TOUR card for next year. You're going to want to keep your eye on Selena's bright future!

Episode 17 - Special Episode - Reflecting on the Shaw Charity Classic - Mike Weir wins in Texas - PG Eh! Podcast
It's bittersweet, but my time running the Shaw Charity Classic has come to an end. I decided to take this week to talk about the incredible experience and the amazing people I've worked with along the way. I also threw in some stories about my interactions with Tom Watson, John Daly, Fred Couples, and Miguel Jimenez for added entertainment. Canada also picked up another win on a major tour with Mike Weir winning the Insperity Invitational, that and more in the Canadian Golf Report. Oh and my mom got a hole-in-one this week, way to go mom!

Episode 16 - Yohann Benson - 10th Win on the LPGA TOUR for Brooke Henderson - PG Eh! Podcast
Brooke Henderson continues to make her mark on the record books by securing her 10th win on the LPGA TOUR. There were 2 other Canadians that won this week on the Outlaw Tour and the National Women's Golf Association. Plenty of other good results including a Monday qualifier and a couple runner up finishes. My guest this week is Yohann Benson of Montreal. He shared some detail about his US Open start in 2008 at Torrey Pines, his caddying experience with Mark Hubbard, Adam Hadwin and Russell Knox, and what it's like to be on-site at Augusta as a part of the broadcast team for RDS. Blair was a highly ranked amateur golfer and a member of the University of Houston golf team for 4 successful years. Nick Taylor attempts to defend his title at the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. A lot of Canadian mini-tour players in action on the Outlaw Tour, the Swingthought Tour, the Minor League Golf Tour and the Cactus Tour. There should be a lot more action in the coming weeks as the Korn Ferry season starts, the LPGA gets back in action and more mini-tour schedules fill up. We're joined by Kimberley, BC native, Jared du Toit and we chat about growing up as a junior golfer in Kimberley, his time at Arizona State, and his career so far as professional golfer including some pretty impressive highlights like a 59 last year in an Outlaw Tour event.

Golf Canada announces their 2021 Young Pro Squad as well as a new award for "Emerging Professionals". I add the Vancouver Golf Tour to my list of tours to report on, and there are a handful of results by Canadians on the PGA TOUR and the mini-tours. I chat with Michael Gligic about his path away from hockey and into golf as a kid, about his long-term relationship with Sean Foley, and about the nerves he felt the first time he teed it up at the RBC Canadian Open. Still working out the bugs before trying to promote the show.
